I survived one of the worst Hurricanes in Hawaii, back in the late 90's. I was 9 months pregnant at the time. I was in a very long line to get gas. Well, the military walked by and saw I was pregnant. So, they brought the gas to me and filled my tank. So, I was able to get out of the long line. I certainly appreciated their help. They had to walk back and forth many times to fill my tank!

As Jami always says. “That’s why woman live longer.”

Jake Ben & LE are like an energizer bunny. They're hopping from one farm to another. Just wherever they are needed. Paw Paw & GiGi have the best grandkids when it comes to helping out the family. Heck, they wouldn't have to be family & they still would help if there was a need. Bree amazes me at what all she accomplishes with 2 little ones. I just love how all the family pitches in and helps each other.

A cooling cloth, wet cloth around the neck & over the head helps regulate body heat. Rejoice that you all got alot accomplished. Hydrate, rest & eat

I hate that anyone has to go through any storm or natural disaster, been through quite a bit of hurricanes myself, but to be torn from a well deserved vacation sucks big time. On the plus side, everyone is safe & you still have your home. I guess I don't need to tell you how lucky you are with the heat exhaustion. I had no clue, drove from Tx to La & not long after I was in the hospital for 5 days because I was dehydrated & had heatstroke. This can damage your heart. Taking care of yourself is a small thing to do to be able to see your boys grow up & flourish & to grow old with Steph. Yard looks much better now. 👩‍🦳🙏💜
