Neither one of them put out the lumens they claim & that Braun is a pile of garbage. I have 2 broken ones to prove it from when they came out & everyone was going nuts over them. The hinge is a huge weak spot. Astro Pneumatic is far superior to both.

Love the braun beat em up and travel well. The pen tip light is nice when you lose the socket or wrench in no mans land

Yeah, I like the newer (improved) Braun version better.

Just about everything I lend out comes back in a condition I would never ever get it to myself. Ladders, shop lights, cameras, even shovels. It’s like they use everything as a hammer. I’m real hesitant nowdays even with close friends. Sometimes if there’s a request to borrow stuff, I’ll make sure to demonstrate exactly how carefully I treat the stuff, so they see that they should probably try to be careful as well. I’ll be dramatic about it too, when I’m doing that. LOL Just a couple days ago I gave my neighbor some 5-5-3 garden soil so he could start his garlic. When I handed the (blue Lowe’s bucket with orange Home Depot lid) bucket over the fence to him, and said “use as much as you want. Take all of it if you can. That would actually help if you used it all because when I get the bucket back from you I’m going to wash it out and use it for storing dog toys out back over there” and I gently rested the bucket on the back of my hand on top of the fence so he could see that I didn’t want it damaged. Sometimes you just need to show people how you want your things treated so it clicks in their mind that it isn’t being loaned out because you don’t care about it. Now, I know its just a bucket and I don’t REALLY really care about it, but I felt it was necessary to illustrate that I didn’t want him to kick the crap out of it and forget about it and eventually throw it out to the curb. It’s only like ten bucks but when I’m here looking at saving ten bucks on a set of screwdrivers, ten bucks is ten bucks! LOL

@@eksine I wouldn’t know I never touched them. They’re up in the ceiling of my garage. I don’t feel the heat standing underneath them. Also, some LEDs do get hot because they have to produce a lot of power. That’s why LED headlights have fans on them or fins to help dissipate the heat.

Some of it... yeah. I am pretty sure they will be updated the jacks at some point but the generator, icon and bauer lights and the snap ring pliers are all new or new'ish.

My guy it’s called inflation… remember when mcchickens were $1? Now they’re $3. Remember when gas was ~$2.5? Now it’s ~$4…. Also that 5 drawer cart is a new version, slight improvements and has black instead of chrome. Etc etc etc. they liquidated their old version not too long ago for $199, which is the one you have more than not. So $190 is a damn steal in today’s economy. It’s never dropped below $200 before, so if you’re up for saving $10 then that’s fine by me.

According to the Honda service reps I talk to Honda, isn't Honda anymore. I don't fanboy on this channel nor do I just talk about of my backside. When I say something it's because I have sources to back it up. But if we want to spitball stuff consider this. Why would Honda give up on lawnmowers but stick with generators? The lawnmower market is exponentially larger than power equipment.

@@denoftools I understand the here-say, but don’t openly say Honda is getting out ICE until you get it in writing. OPE is heavily influenced by buying decisions sure, but it’s actually governed by EPA. As you’re aware, EPA rules for small engines have drastically changed in the past 10 years. That is the main reason Honda got out of walk behind mowers in the US. Honda makes Lipo powered OPE in many other markets outside of the US. It’s possible this may come stateside at some point. Honda is the largest ICE engine maker in the world and will continue to be so, but they also have committed to carbon neutrality by 2050, so at some point the wind down has to start. Great channel and I appreciate your thoughts.

@@justinvanaulen2478I’ve owned 2 Honda small engine powered tools in my life. A pressure washer & a push mower. Both were underpowered garbage. The mower was the hardest to start of any mower I’ve ever owned. So thank got Predator is NOT Honda. Just like their cars, they’re WAY overrated.
