I genuinely think MJ liked being around kids, not only bc his childhood was trash and non existent, but because hanging out with kids was the only time he felt comfortable and could be himself. MJ was oober famous. Like scary famous. Dangerous famous. There will never be that kind of fame again (because of social media) but MJ was so famous that he lived a very abnornal life. He couldnt go anywhere, he was hounded and harassed and yelled at, chased, always had to have security, one time he paid a grocery store to shut down just so he could grocery shop himself to feel like a normal human being. I think he enjoyed kids company because he enjoyed the same things kids enjoy and they looked at him like just a normal dude. He wasnt "the MJ" like he was to the rest of the world. I cant fathom living with that sort of fame. Ive heard other celebrities speak about how even they were scared of his fame and felt uncomfortable around him because of all the attention and fans he attracted. I think he was a big kid at heart and was until the day he died. Listen to the way he spoke, he blushed when asked about girlfriends, he never cursed, he was a gentleman. Was he odd? Definitely. But anyone who grew up and was surrounded with that kind of fame and attention would be. 🤷‍♀️ Just my opinion.

man, when I was 20 years old i used to hang out with 10 years old kids and i had a blast. i was teased by adults and told me that they looked like my minions and now we are all adults We are still together doing the thing we still do, playing video games and sht like that, we had the same interests. one of the kid who was my bestfriend is now my personal secretary and his loyalty is unmatched, he was the one who ran and bought medicine when i was sick in the middle of the night, he was the one who assisted me on my surgery. we've been hanging out since he was 9 years old and now he's 27 years old and he is the godfather of my child. we never stopped and we plan to get rich together.

Their friendship was very symbiotic. Michael gave Mac the guidance of how to navigate life as a child star. Advice that very few people can give. Macaulay gave Mike the experience of the childhood he was robbed of. It's sick that humans automatically assumed that there was a predatory, sinister side to this. Michael Jackson was protecting Macaulay from the trauma that he experienced at that age and they were a positive force in each others life until the media started making creepy accusations.

I love how he valued his friendship with Michael and doesn’t sell his friendship by releasing a book. I bet when Michael met Mac’s father for the first time, he could see his father in the eyes of Mac’s father. They both are child stars and have traumatic childhood due to their abusive father. MJ did a fantastic decision to name Mac as The Godfather of his kids. I truly believe that MJ welcomed all these child stars like Mac in his ranch to protect them from pedophilia in Hollywood.

Mac is a real one. Mike was wise to pick him as a friend. He was not bothered by the age difference because Mike didn't believe in those kinds of boundaries. Michael saw ANOTHER Child Star about to go through the worst of fame & became that friend that Michael wished he had when his fame rose with the Jackson 5 in 1969. Through Macaulay, Michael got to be a true blue friend, a mentor, & a way to express those repressed feelings lost in his own childhood. The price people pay to jump those economic classes takes a toll. Especially on kids. When you look at it objectively, it is the EXACT same reason he befriended Emmanuel Lewis who played Webster on TV. And both Emmanuel & Mac NEVER disrespected their friendships with Michael not even for all the money in the world. For all the turncoats Mike faced in his life, at least he had some real ones around him like Macaulay.

I dated a guy with a very similar personality type to Michael's. He adores kids and is still miserable that he doesn't have any, so he kind of adopts other peoples' kids. He is super fun and would be a great dad. There is definitely projection involved (projecting ones innocence onto children because adulthood brings problems and complications that children don't have, that he can't handle). He has a hard time being in the adult world, he just wants to dissapear into his sentimentalized fantasy world where there are no problems. I couldn't be with him for longer than two years because he was always too busy avoiding me, getting lost in his idealized image of me where i didn't remind him of real world expectations and problems. I see a lot of the same behavior patterns in him as MJ.

I’m not a Jackson fan. Never bought a record. But I am kinda obsessed with researching the psychological ramifications of childhood trauma/neglect/abuse as well as the social fascination with celebrity along with the trauma sustained from growing up in the industry. Not to mention my all time favourite, religious cults and the dynamics involved with the combination of all of those. This case for me epitomises everything in one fascinating study case. I’ve read/watched everything put out in the public domain that I can get my hands on. Jackson grew up with a Jehovah’s Witness mother, with a tyrannical/abusive father, in a black family in 1960s Indiana, U.S. from a poor social- economic background (2 adults, 9 kids in a 2 bedroom house) and then was thrust in to world wide fame with no childhood and intense scrutiny. My belief is he suffered from major arrested development, I don’t believe he matured mentally beyond the age of about 11. I also suspect he may have been asexual/aromantic but felt the pressure to present himself in a more socially acceptable light romantically. I also think he had a rightfully deep seated mistrust of not just adults but also therapists. He needed intense therapy but couldn’t seek it the conventional way. His therapy was living vicariously through other children, by giving them the chance to have the kind of childhood he wished for himself, thereby saving the broken child within himself. It’s the gross minds of others who can’t fathom any reason for an adult to seek out a kinship with children other than sexual gratification. Add in to the mix those kids money-hungry parents who used their children to exploit and extort him. As a former abused child myself, I have developed an enduring interest in the subject as well as a sixth sense for creeps and paedos. Can’t explain it, but when I’m near one the alarm goes off. I’ve never been wrong thus far. The alarm has never gone off with Jackson. I think he was so very wronged. People did him dirty.

Thank you for sharing your personal view. Yes I also feel the same as you, and on top of that I think he didn’t have anyone telling him that people would think weird things if he hung around children. And he absolutely never imagined that they would go to such lengths as to accuse him of molestation. In his mind he didn’t understand people would see a (very dishonest selfish and harmful ) opportunity in the way he lived. And it’s not that he would be surrounded by kids all the time, most of the time he was busy and also surrounded by people. I spoke with his photographer and he told me how he was always swarmed by a bunch of people all the time. I guess people working for him.

Having similar experiences would bond them. Their fathers, pushy and abusive, having to become providers for their families as kids, a lot of kids in a small area due to minimal finances as kids.

To me it’s really tragic that his legacy is so tainted. You can’t talk about him without someone making a comment on the allegations. The saddest thing is that because of his abusive upbringing, he grew into a misunderstood adult. And when he was finally doing the things that made him happy, he was called a weirdo or an abuser. @@JonHop1 It's not a pointless endeavour when you take into account that all four accusers have been thoroughly debunked through the court system and the FBI. It's not enough to say 'We'll never know' when we know for certainty that those four accusers lied. James Safechuck claimed multiple times he was first abused in 1988 in the upstairs loft of Neverland train station. The train station was built and completed 6 years after he claimed it happened. He also said he was abused at Disney Land Paris before it opened in 1992 and also claimed he spent Thanksgiving at Neverland in 1988 when he was actually on the Australian leg of his Bad World Tour. Do those three facts not dismantle his entire abuse claim? There are countless more inaccuracies for the other three, but the point is he was innocent and we have the receipts. His innocence is well documented, and the evidence for his guilt is laughably non existent.

I am glad Macaulay Caulkin spoke truthfully. I believe in my heart Michael Jackson IS innocent of all these malicious and malevolent accusations. I emphasized “is” because He is to me alive in the new earth he was meant to be. With a very heavy heart, I have to say, Michael was never meant to be on this earth…with people always wanting to get something from him. All he wanted was to share his talents and show his love to children. He was robbed of his own childhood so to me, being around children was the safest place he could ever be. He was his true, free-spirited, crazy child-like self who didn’t have to be manipulated. Michael blessed us with his gifts, his music and his humanity. He was a beautiful soul and he is better off in heaven… This judgmental, opportunistic and cruel world he lived in was never a place for his kind and loving heart ❤️ and gosh, how I miss him terribly as one of THE Greatest artists who ever lived! ❤

My take on it, is this: Age is more psychological than physical, when you truly think about it. I believe that all the trauma MJ experienced as a child, made him regress back to a child, psychologically, as he got older. So, even though it seems inappropriate to us, in his mind, he was a child and felt safer in the company of children. Age regression is all about mentally going back to a time when you felt happier and safer.

Edit: I just finished watching the video, and Macaulay says the same thing... it is not difficult to figure that out when you have an iota of empathy. When I realized she was taking advantage of me I couldn’t move out so I had to continue allowing it for another 3 years until FINALLY I got out. Other workers of hers saw some of how she really was but I had it the worst. My home which she provided was rat infested, moldy, my old furnace caught fire, and she also tricked me into working an extra 9 hours a week to cover pet deposits.. and when I had paid them off completely she lied and said that was never the agreement. That I had to keep working the extra 9 hours. Anyways my point is.. sometimes people come off to certain people as complete angels. And to others as evil, disgusting, manipulative people. That is how bad people get away with things. They pick and choose who they abuse so that they will always have someone to back them up.

@@kessoslife3021a grown man having sleepovers with strangers' children at his mansion is anything but "innocent". Historically speaking, if you caught a man sleeping in a bed with a child, more than sleeping went on. Michael was found not guilty, but you cant blame people for looking at him sideways after it all.

I've always loved MJ and I've always understood the "strange" friendship, even during his darkest moments and allegations. But until you've lived under scrutiny, abuse, or terror, and have had your childhood ruined, you don't see it. That level of compassion doesn't just exist, it is created; it manifests from experience.

As someone who had to grow up quick and had pretty much no childhood whatsoever, had to go work full-time before I even graduated high school, I don’t have any doubt that MJ was simply trying to compensate for not having any childhood in his life. It felt that inside he never really grew up. Was he weird? Yes, but somehow I don’t believe that he was a pervert they keep making out of him even now. I have two kids now and I am somewhat reliving childhood through their experiences. Am I over-compensating? You bet I do. Most people in our position do too. The fact that most people want to see more into it, speaks more about people than MJ. Macaulay turned up fine and he’s doing great in his life, perhaps, in large part, because he had someone by his side, who had gone through the same experience he was going through, and was able to help him avoid the usual mistakes of a child star.

One thing I can say is that growing up and getting older you realize kids are very innocent. The statement that stood out to me was that what kids say and do is how they feel and it’s harder to trust adults. I could see that being a factor as to why Michael loved being around kids. Today adults will use anything and everything against you for money and fame.

I sadly never met MJ, i never attended a concert. But deep down i just know that MJ just liked children for their natural behaviour. MJ had a very unconventional Childhood as far as i know and so i strongly believe that what he did was basically living out the childhood he never had, yes he was a grown man by then but we all carry our inner child through live. And i believe if that child doesn't get to play in the real world, you will seek opportunities to do so. As said, i know as little as you could about MJ. I know i loved his music a lot. it's a gut feeling i have. MJ would never hurt anyone for the sake of his satisfaction. I can and won't believe that. I think MJ was more of a big brother to Mac. Nothing weird. Just a nice brotherhood in Michaels adulthood.

MJ mistake was connecting with poor people, they are not trusted, cause they try take advantage from rich using whatever in hands, even detrying them for sake of money.👹👹 That why they are poor.

It speaks more about those parents IMO. Who would accept money if that really happened. You'd also want justice right? That's what rung true in my heart and soul about this case. The paps loved to torcher Michael because they saw how it bothered him.

@@carolinecoy3164 each allegation was an attempt to exploit Michael financially because none of the accusers filed lawsuits to begin with. The first accusation Michael was ready to fight in court but was ill advised and the accusers refused to take it further once they got what they were after anyway which was money which itself speaks volumes. Sadly though this opened up the flood gates for the rest of the vultures to attempt the same including his own staff who themselves were caught stealing his property. The media at no point reported on any of the inconsistencies in each case which were in the thousands because that would not sell. The media wanted him guilty as it filled their filthy pockets so done all they could to keep the circus open and the money flooding in.

Macaulay is and always be one of the most genuine people in the industry and that is why he is liked by most genuine kind hearted people. He has always maintained his story and it never changed. Michael did not mess with kids in any sick way. But the parents of some of this kids had only money in their minds. 😔

It’s not just weird. It’s creepy. And disturbing. And these people are condoning and normalizing it because it makes them feel good. Michael Jackson needed mental help and accountability and Macaulay Culkin needed parents that were going to protect their child from industry perverts. Plain and simple. This relationship was very ungodly

I don’t. As a kid I loved having decent interactions with adults. And as an adult I’m so passionate about children. Listening to them, playing with them and making sure they have a good time invigorates me. It’s kinda looking after the future generations. The fact that there are sickos out there shouldn’t invalidate purity of relationships, in my opinion. Also, women don’t get heat for loving children but men do. Yet there are female pedos out there too. But lastly, Michael mentioned the reason why children. He could leave his guard down, have fun and relax. It’s terrible he couldn’t have many normal adult relationships. But if anything he didn’t have a childhood himself and kids are the best company for free happiness. Let’s not forget: he was acquitted in the court of law, where there’s due diligence. He’s only guilty in the trial by mob and media. Which seems to matter more these days and is the downfall of society.
