Yeah, I remember hearing that the composer of the theme was heavily inspired by KMFDM, White Zombie, and Ministry. That would totally make sense, in the late 90's, early 2000's, that music really sounded like the music of the future. It also perfectly captures the cyperpunk angst of Batman Beyond to a T.

To this day, I maintain that Terry is the best Batman. He's a Batman that has his shit together. He may not be Superhuman like Bruce, but he's brilliant, dedicated, and very good at thinking outside the box. I don't dismiss Bruce, Terry got to where he is thanks to Bruce's training and counsel, but damn Terry is just tearing it apart. He's a mixture of Batman, Spiderman, and Ironman in a Cyberpunk setting.

I wouldn't say Terry is "the best", Bruce is and will always be The Batman, but I think Terry is a worthy successor and is probably one of the best successor characters in the DC lineup. Terry's Batman is very different from Bruce's, but that's what makes him so interesting. It's a fresh perspective and a fresh method.

@Jay No. Peak human condition does not allow to ignore that bones breaks before metal, or that the pressure needed to stop a bolt dead in its track means breaking it, therefore not stopping it. One of my absolute favorite things about Batman Beyond was it's soundtrack's heavy influence from bands like KMFDM, White Zombie and Ministry. This was around the time that franchises like Mortal Kombat and Batman Beyond were really catching onto the sound of Industrial Metal to carry their brand, and because of that, it still has the coolest feeling possible.

It’s a Batman animated spinoff of the 90s series set in a cyberpunk future with a teen taking up the mantle of Batman with guidance and training of Bruce Wayne it’s honestly really great as a sequel and on its own very much recommended

I totally loved this show and the music was a huge part of it. It captured everything brilliantly from the heaviness and anger perspective as well as the futuristic perspective. Bought the soundtrack to ROTJ and it, as well, was brilliant.

You know something that would epic? If during the DC FAN Dome out of nowhere, the whole conference went dark, and then slowly and gradually this song started playing until the red bat appeared and in the tagline: Season 4, Summer 2021. Or something even more epic, a teaser to a live action, TV-MA rated series on HBO MAX. Coming next year. I get chills just thinking about it.
