It's all about historical context. Is a white person doing black face alright? Absolutely not. Is a black person painting their face white alright? Definitely much more acceptable. We don't live in a perfect world, but if we did, of course it would be alright to jokingly ask a woman if she sleeps naked just as it is to ask a man. But women experience lots of objectification and sexualization of their bodies so a question like that is inappropriate. Hope I explained that alright!

Funny thing is...our house got broke into once on an Army base, and I didn’t even think or worry about approaching the idiot butt ass naked with my 45 drawn on him. When I flipped the light on he jumped and turned around and immediately yelled “DAMMIT MAN put some clothes on!” Swear it! We also lived right behind the MP station so response time was damn near zero and the MP actually wrote in the report that he “arrived to find legal occupant nude while holding intruder in residence with weapon aimed at intruder.” My wife had just had an emergency appendectomy and couldn’t get in or out of bed without assistance due to other complications, so I was kinda stuck there. Bad thing was, they had to call my commander to notify him and they told him of my attire, or lack of. I didn’t live that down for nearly a year it seemed. Dudes would joke about not being in the tent with me because they didn’t want to get held up by me with my M4 and my snub nose. 🤣 I should add the fact that I was already pissed about having to wait for 18 months for a seat in Pre-Ranger school and was damn near done when I got recalled for a family emergency with my wife almost dying. Which meant I would have to wait for another seat to open, then start all over, before I could go to RIP. Oh, and the fact that my wife almost died. And yes, Pre-RIP and RIP are that damn important, not to come across as cold hearted or unloving to those who may not be familiar. For example, one of my Generals had to leave Iraq right after we invaded because his wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver. When he got back he told us that it was horrible, but still wasn’t as bad as a good day in Ranger school.

Unless I'm visiting someone else's home, I sleep in the buff. Your skin needs to breathe, too. I just find fabric right against my skin 24/7 to be irritating (having Fibro doesn't help). When I was little, my mom used to try and put me in these button-up flannel nightgowns which were so uncomfortable. They were thrown on the floor by morning. Sooooo itchy.

Well, I usually sleep with nothing but undies. But have been tempted to go commando. I've been sleeping like this for atleast a year now and am more comfortable. The only problem I have is worrying if someone decides to open my door lol. Also it helps my confidence in being naked as well!

I’ve been sleeping nude for the past 3 years. It’s the best thing I’ve done personally. I’m warm natured so that means I’m constantly warm/hot!!! Also, the thought of sleeping in clothing now makes me anxious. The only way I’d sleep in clothes is if my room temperature is like in the low 60s. My home thermostat stays on 72.

I used to always sleep with a gown when I was younger, but as I got older with the aches & pains, it makes it easy to toss & turn without anything on. I mean, just add another comforter in colder weather or turn up the heat a couple degrees. I also keep my bath robe at hand in case of an emergency.

I keep the heat/AC low to save energy, easier to put more clothes on or move blankets off...and I live by the Canadian border where it's 0 to -50 for weeks at a time; so I wear sweatpants, socks, and Under Armour shirt to bed. In summer when it's like 75+ out I'll sleep in a sports bra and panties, tank top and shorts/panties or in just panties, but I keep pants and a shirt at the end of the bed and shoes by my bed in case the fire alarm goes off or someone comes to the door or something. Always have at least panties on in case my period decides to surprise me in the middle of the night. In the Army I wore my PT uniform (basically shorts and a tshirt; and track pants, long sleeve shirt, windbreaker, and hat if it's cold or too bright in the room) to bed. That was a barracks rule. You also had to have your sneakers and socks right there in case you had to get up quick, along with hair ties/pins to put your hair back up in a hurry - we were allowed to sleep with our hair down in bed and between bed and the latrine so it wouldn't get moldy from never getting to dry out fully. It also depends on if there's someone else there, if my mum or brothers or a guest is over I'll be in a tank and shorts at least out of politeness. If it's girls or a gay guy I'll be willing to just have a shirt and panties or sports bra and shorts.

Water beds were wonderful. Best sleep. With a heater during winter it was always perfect temperature. In the summer, let it cool to around 89 or so, and you didn't need airconditioning.

Not me, not yet... but I'm hitting my mid-30s, and I'm a side-sleeper. I may have to support the girls with SOMETHING, at night. Not looking forward to it, as I've hated sleeping with anything on, my entire life. As far back as I can remember, the constricting, itchy PJs my mom would pick for me would be thrown off rather quickly. I just couldn't sleep with them on. I bet if I asked her, I'd find out that I would strip things off when I was still a toddler and in a crib, too.

I've slept stark naked since I Turned 14 and never was afraid anyone would walk in it was just a written rule in our house that you never walked into a bedroom while the door was shut and NO ONE ever did And it is I feel much more healthier ‼️‼️

Speaking of waterbeds, I still have mine which I purchased in the 70s. I sleep in it in the summertime to keep cool at night. In the winter months I sleep in it to keep warm. and in both cases, I sleep commando...... lol

I sleep commando 100% of the time all year that's also why I have a heated mattress pad in the winter which only gets turned on to warm the bed before I get in it.

I sleep natural unless it’s freezing cold . Don’t like the confinement of clothing when sleeping . Even if it’s cold , never wear undies to bed .

most of the time i sleep naked. only time i don't sleep naked is when its my time of the month or if we have company. i hate the layout of my house. you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, and i am a restless sleeper just because i fall asleep covered with covers doesn't mean i will wake up with a covers

I am 43yrs old & I always slept naked since I was 13yrs old and still do no matter what the weather is like so if the weather is cold add a extra blanket that's all. And my wife does the same as I do.

TJ Devereaux my dad can't were a shirt when he sleeps because he says he wakes up some nights to him chocking by his own shirt wrapped around his neck because he moves a lot when he sleeps

I'm 66 years old. I'm also asthmatic. In cold weather, I have to keep my head and ears covered because I'm more likely to get bronchitis in the winter time. And bronchitis is extremely dangerous to asthmatics. Bronchitis kills lots of asthmatics. I do like to keep my bedroom a little cool. I sleep better. Other than wearing a watch cap to cover my head and ears, I sleep naked. It's much more comfortable. I could wear something like boxer shorts, but that's all. If I wear a T-shirt to bed, I'll sweat in my sleep. If I get up to go to the bathroom to pee, that T-shirt will be soaking wet, just like I had worn it in the shower. In the summertime, I sleep completely naked. I live alone. In the summertime, I keep my A/C/s thermostat as high as I can take the heat, to save money on electricity. Then I sleep naked on top of the covers. But my shoulders tend to get cold, so I pull the corners of the top sheet over each shoulder. But put things in perspective. When you are under your covers, why do you need to wear anything?

i mean yeah ill sleep with just my underwear on or some pants and topless, but i would feel really gross going FULL ON commando because then all the "discharge" or "fluid" (get over it, our bodies are gross no big deal) might get on my sheets or something:/
