Once you jimin, you can’t jimout not being rich is not the same thing as not having enough money to take care of a pet. Of course you don’t need to be rich but you do need a continuing income in order to provide care and pay for vet bills. Many people cannot do that.

Once you jimin, you can’t jimout you do realize there are different levels of wealth right? Just because someone has a roof over their head does not mean they are able to afford an animal. What about the people in government housing or people who are on welfare? What about people who go paycheck to paycheck and live in a small apartment where they struggle to pay the bills every month? Having a roof over one’s head does not mean you can afford a pet especially all of the responsibilities that come with it such as vet care.

Having a house means nothing. Many people in houses live paycheck to paycheck. Not everyone can have a pet. That’s just the hard truth. Fish and hamsters still cost money regardless. You may have money to buy a 2 dollar fish. Great. But what about everything after that. Fish food depending on the type of fish, a tank which has to be a certain size, correct filtration system, items to put into the tank, equipment for saltwater vs freshwater fish, etc. not to mention the time it takes to clean the tank. Someone living paycheck to paycheck may not have the time or dedication to a pet due to work. I am not arguing that people shouldn’t have pets. My point was that not everyone CAN have pets even with a roof over their head for obvious reasons. It’s not that simple. But you don’t seem to get it and got mad when I argued my point. Grow up.

My daughter had a rabbit and she was best friend with my English Cocker Spaniel. They used to play a game where they fronted each other and my dog bent down in the front at the same time the rabbit "smacked" her front legs on the floor. They were so cute and did this every now and then for the years we hade them together (about 7 years). My other dog which I bought later (another English Cocker) did not have the same bond. She just didn´t take much notice of the rabbit. I was always supervising them but it would have seemed very odd if my dog suddenly would have gotten into sort of "hunting mode" or similar. An ex to me had two guinea pigs and one time a jack russell terrier came into our lawn (the guinea pigs were behind walls/bars with open squares. My Cocker then chased the jack russell away. She was protecting the guinea pigs and she only saw them a few times (we lived far away from each other, but she understood that they belonged to the family).

It isn't a problem with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel as they are the sweetest dog in the world, we had a few and they will never EVER bite anything, birds would come down and steal his food from the bowl and he would just let them. None have ever even growled, too sweet for their own good :)

Yes thanks for pointing this out! My neighbors cats tried to attack my rabbit once after I stepped into the garage. She was in the backyard. I heard the cat chasing my rabbit and I ran back out and yelled HEY! The cat jumped over the fence and since then I don't leave my rabbit out of sight when we're outside. Also, beware of big birds and owls that prey on rabbits and other small animals.

I have one and with the same colour as Lola but more black than white she doesn’t have a short nose because my mum thought the short faced ones are ugly going into college and learning it’s a deformity and people keep breeding it in and gets worse health conditions because people inbreeding for dog shows made me so much happier about my mums choice I had to show her that she did the right thing

MM M it’s okay she isn’t suffering from that horrible disease however she is suffering with heart problems she’s now 10 and the left side is enlarged and she has back flow she she has blood in her lungs which gives her a horrible cough and if heart rate is high and anything that gets her too excited could make her pass out she’s on medication for the rest of her life now it’s only happened recently she is the sweetest dog you would ever meet she is family I hope we can make it easier for her thank you ♥️

​@@glenicecrease5115 It's not a disease, it's a bone deformation. She was born that way, because people will pay thousands and thousands of dollars for CKCS. So no one bothers to check genes, no one bothers to keep the breed true, and you end up with dogs who have messed up spines, heads. And I'm sorry to say, but your dog is going to get heart issues either by 5, or by 10, and that's what's going to kill it - adopt, don't shop.
