I adore all species of animals and the all the flora its what makes this planet beautiful, not people.

The Lion Whisperer is certainly very special. To have the bond that he has with his brood is a wonderful thing. As he say's, he is not their owner but their guardian. We can never truly own an animal but we can be their protector and give them the best life that we can and all of the love we have. It is very amazing and special when you have an animal that bonds with you and I mean really bonds with you. Not just depending on you for a home and food.

This is a lovely story. I watch a lot of Kevin Richardson vids and he has a warning for anyone donating to some organizations in South Africa and elsewhere. They "rescue and breed" these animals for canned hunting. They put the lions, tigers, whatever inside enclosures and "big white hunters" such as Little Donnie Douchbag can "hunt" the big animals for a huge fee. So do your research carefully before donating to organizations claiming to free animals.

D Ross it is very sad that they hunt the animals on the sanctuaries, but all of that huge fee is then spent raising more animals and saving more animals. So as hard as it is to see them suffer, in some cases rich jerks paying to kill one is often better for the species as a whole.

I used to enjoy the circus as a kid, not anymore though. Although, I had went to the UniverSoul Circus earlier this year before the Coronavirus happened with my father because my nephew wanted to see people perform, it was pretty entertaining until I've witnessed a guy who brought out a Zebra and had a whip and started smacking the ground to make the Zebra run laps around the enclosure while he did tricks and appeared to be shouting at it, the Zebra looked absolutely terrified, ears pinned back, eyes wide. I honestly don't look forward going to a circus ever again. If there were no animals at the circus, except maybe dogs, then it'd be fine.

However, alot of other countries see animals are "things to own and make them money" so yes, that may well be the case. It's just his lip that's been pulled away from the jaw. The jawbone is fine. I've seen the same injury on dogs when they get their lip torn in a fight. It doesn't affect their health or eating at all. They could try to recut the lip and sew it back on to the jaw but it would be a big surgery and you can't make a lion wear a cone of shame! The tooth is a different issue - he had lots of tooth decay and disease after a lifetime of poor food and nothing to chew on to clean his teeth.
