For those of you wondering one of his collars is a GPS collar called the Fi Dog collar! This is a great idea for dogs that may bolt due to nervousness!

My 17 years young Shih tzu was like that when I first rescued her over almost 14 years ago. She sat in my lap and never left. It took years for her tail to untuck and the shaking to stop. She is now almost a normal Shih tzu. My little shadow.

This video was so touching! I adopted a rescue last year and her tail tells everything about her emotions. It tells me when she's happy, confident or scared and wary. In the first weeks she was so shy and insecure and the tail always between her legs. Now she walks around the neighbourhood with a raised tail and always looks so proud to take her owners on a stroll.

Omg I am beyond thrilled to see this!!! 🐶❤ I adopted his sister, Sabbay and I just broke down seeing where the were rescued from ... we always imagined they were kept in a rusty cage because of the condition of her front teeth. So so happy for him! Go Lavery go! We are so proud of you and grateful to the foster community here in San Diego 🌄

I'm happy for him that he found a loving family! My roommate was so neglectful to her dogs. Her dog is only 4 but she 'replaced' her with a new puppy. Only the puppy gets to sleep in her room at night or go places with her. Other dog got totally ignored.

I am 63 years old and it brought me to tears to know that these dogs were almost slaughtered. I love animals and especially dogs. I am a lifetime vegetarian and share 4 cane corsos with my friend. I wish I could win the lottery so I could fund my own animal rescue so I appreciate it when others can so much. Thank you very much.

A special thank you to all the dedicated animal fosters who bring dogs and cats (and the many other kinds of animals) into their lives to help them prepare for their forever homes. It’s not the easiest thing to do and if you aren’t able to let animals go it’s probably not for you (and that’s ok too!) This is volunteer work I recommend if you know you are able to help animals by placing them with forever families and will make room for new animals in need after them. I’ve found it often helps if fosters have completed their “animal families” and are not actively looking to adopt. That doesn’t mean you won’t be tempted. I’ve been there many times. If you do have animals you have to be sure they’re ok with other animals being in your home before volunteering as as a foster. Some get along great with everyone; sometimes there will be a placement that isn’t a good personality fit. It happens and isn’t a big deal. Fostering takes time, patience and lots of love but is incredibly rewarding. I highly recommend it. If you can’t foster, consider adopting. If you can’t adopt, if you’re able, donate to your local rescue. If donating isn’t an option, consider giving of your time by volunteering a few hours a month at a local animal welfare organization. Everyone has something they can offer.

Thank God for our animal friends true emotional expressions (tail tucking, wagging etc..) So if they are uneasy we know we need to do something FOR them They love us and we love them 🙂 💗

I know about dogs having their tail between their legs, it indicates they’re either nervous or scared. One time when me and my friends were walking home from school, we saw the woman’s dog with its tail between its legs and it was kinda almost skin and bones. For Lavey(he’s a cute dog, I want to cuddle 🤗 him) on the other hand, I understand about him being nervous and I don’t blame em cause being in a slaughterhouse kinda traumatized him. No dog should be mistreated like this, not even other animals, they’re our friends for heaven’s sake.

I'm so happy for Lavery! That first shot of him with him putting his nose through the cage...& then he looked up...so defeated & broken...just....😢💔 💔💔 They saved ALL of those precious dogs though!! Bravo heroes!! 👏👏👏 I pray all of those pups got homes (foster & forever!) as great as Lavery's...with their own awesome Mom & Dad...& a sibling like Larry! I was involved in animal rescue for many years. A few years ago,after 2 of my elderly dogs past away, I adopted a coonhound from a rural pound in Missouri. He wouldn't hunt so he was abused by his former owner. It was difficult at first because he was afraid of everything, but he has turned out to be the best dog ever. Patience will be rewarded.

Every time I watch these, I go and hug my adopted cat that was abandoned. Every animal deserves love, patience and compassion

I almost couldn’t watch this because of the “dog meat trade.” It sickens me to my core. I haven’t eaten ANY animals in 35+ years. Thanks goodness they were all rescued. 💗🐾
