Queen City Bulldog Rescue took him in and found him a foster family who had to keep him quarantined from their other dogs for 45 days! Watch him double his weight, find the perfect family and use his bed in the most ridiculous way ❤️

After 45 days of quarantine, Bubbins was LITERALLY jumping for joy to join the other dogs. It's great to see such an uninhibited expression of happiness!

I’m always disappointed when foster parents give one of their pups up but then I think the availability of foster parents is critical to the whole healing process and adoption. If every foster parent kept and adopted them there would be no foster parents left!

As an animal lover, I am so glad there is people around the world who are willing to do this for animals. We live in a world where people just see animals as objects with no soul. A lot of animals are dying and sadly we can’t save them all. There are habitats being destroyed, animals being brutally abused or killed. If we don’t stop this, many species are going to go extinct. If you have a animal buddy, give him/her the best life. Don’t treat them like objects. Don’t see them as pets, see them as friends. Because no animal deserves cruelty.

amen.. i also believe that anyone who will treat any animal poorly is a defective human being. Cruelty to animals just seems easier to get away with, but should never be tolerated in a civilized society.

It’s nice to see many others besides myself and family that love and respect all animals , I have had pups and now older friends/pups that are my best friends for many years. If people don’t start respecting animal life like you said, we are going to lose out on many different breeds of pups /animal friends. My service pup is 14 years old and is doing very well , keeps me alive and having a reason to get up daily.

Yes, I agree.. very nice prayer. For a good person to turn into an unproductive and useless one, just requires them to sit by and do nothing. Do not just complacently sit by, Whenever (?) we have the opportunity to- Always show and demonstrate real kindness to all others, especially vulnerable animals.

amen.. poor Bubbins did not even have enough energy to get his whimper sound out. Some of us have just seen so much neglect, but thank goodness Bubbins story turned into a much happier one ☺

Fostering is so much fun and so fulfilling. I encourage anyone who loves animals to jump in and give it a try. I have fostered over 50 dogs and loved them all. Even though it is sad to see them go it is amazing to see them thriving in their forever homes and think to yourself “I made that happen.”

The fact these people kept scabies from spreading to the other dogs is something to be said. That's some real dedication, not only to take that risk but pull it off. I know it wasn't without some serious effort. God bless these people.

Thank you all for rescuing this furrbaby, I was in rescue many years, it is a very hard, emotional thing to do. Very hard to foster & give up a baby like that full of unconditional love, especially after 6 mos! Did he lose his voice? His cries are heart wrenching. So glad someone found him & gave to the bully rescue. Wishing many years of happiness, good health & much love to all.❤❤🐾🙏

I don't know if you 2 have 2 legged children but your 4-legged ones, foster or permanent, are SOOOOO blessed to have you in their lives. Oh no! He's still got his little butt sticking right off the chair at the end there - what a sweetheart! I love these people - they had Bubbin for six months - building him up to be the best pupper he could be and then they let him go to his new family and will no doubt do this over again and spend that time saving another baby. The love and generosity of spirit amazes and humbles me - thank you wonderful people - thank you thank you thank you 😊

What an absolutely beautiful Bulldog! How could those jerks just abandon him when he was so sick and he needed them?! He could easily have ended up being euthanized at a shelter where they didn't have the resources to help him!! Thank God he was pulled by a rescue and or a family that was willing to foster him!!! I'm so glad that beautiful boy was healed and adopted 💙!!! Now he has his whole life ahead of him and that's the way it should be!!!!!

He looks so much like the recycled dog my ex roommate rescued. He always said he didn't rescue Detroit, he recycled him. Detroit was so timid, he was terrified of the hose, rake, my cats, and balls. He was a good boy though, and so cute when he finally learned how to play. Due to a few scars we think he may have used in dog fighting, but was so gentle. R.I.P. Bighead

I have a rescued a Pittbull that literally didn't bark for 2 years, but now it's the most animated dog I've ever been around. He went from the outhouse to the penthouse because of the love we gave him and the live her gave back to us!!! Best thing I've ever done in my life was to adopt Toby!!!! Love my boy!!!

I adopted a Pit Bull mix from a shelter in March of 2018. I make sure that he has plenty of food to eat and plenty of cold water to drink. He is my best friend and I love him with all of my heart. He is spoiled rotten. He loves everybody and wants to meet everybody. He’s definitely a people dog. I could never treat any animal like the way some of these people treat their dogs. My dog is sooooo sweet. Best of luck to you Bubbins
