Thinking the same. Imagine the bond they have. I adopted a golden retriever from Taiwan. 13 goldens were crated from Taiwan to SFO airport. They let them out in a closed-in parking lot at the airport so the dogs could pee before handing them over to their adopted families or foster care person. Our dog was running around the dogs, barking uncontrollably until he stopped and sat in front of a cream, female golden retriever. He started crying and licking her face. We were told to leash him and take him home. He resisted and didn't want to leave her side. That interaction that my dog had with the golden female haunted me. I told my boyfriend we had to inquire what that was all about. Long story. Anyway, a couple of weeks later we were watching videos of the dogs with their host families in Taiwan the night before they departed to America. There, I saw my dog on the video with the cream golden and the title of the video was Knight (my dog) kisses Ruby (cream golden female) one last time. My dog passed 4 years later and I will never forget him. He was my teacher in this lifetime. I have many amazing stories of him. I grew up with dogs but never really honored them the way I should have. Knight taught me the meaning of what it is to honor and truly love. I think of him everyday and I am so grateful that for a brief time he graced my life. Made it richer, more meaningful and to not take those I love for granted. Especially to see the gift and beauty in all animals. They are truly angels. How lucky we are to have them in our life.

I will never miss a day of taking him on walks because that is his favorite thing to do. I feed him the best food. When I go to the kitchen for a snack, he gets a snack too. Of course I make sure not to over feed him but I want to make sure that I don't take his needs for granted. Our animals are angels. They give life meaning when we truly allow them wholeheartedly into our hearts.

It's gonna be really difficult to keep them together. I don't think the rescuers are even working toward that. I've been following their rehab on IG. For starters, they are each huge. Even the two girls. George, the first girl, is 115 lbs. Grace is 92 lbs. Not sure how much Steve weighs but it's more than 115, he is the largest of the 3. The trainer has been socializing them separately with lots of other dogs, and they're doing really well. Great to see. These are going to be tough placements even as singles, but they're great dogs and whoever gets one will be so blessed 🎯🎯🎯❣️ ETA: I found out that George is actually the largest as of 5 weeks ago. She's 115, Steve is 105 and Grace is 92. I don't know if Steve is still putting on weight, he's not officially up for adoption yet so his status is still changing. Also, as I commented below I found out that they're not gonna be adopted together. They shut down from others when together, but socialize well when separate 🙏🏼❤️

This baby has trauma for sure and we are going to do everything we can to adopt. SPCA is allowing us to foster in our home while they and the County Police work their investigation. I've already taken him to the vet and our next steps are immunizations and neuter him. The ASPCA also had a school for training, I can't wait. I am praying so hard this works in our favor as our bighead has been through so much.

Much love to you.... I had lived in a rural setting where I adopted, or rather, the 3 abandoned dogs adopted me, later 2 more. 5 large breed dogs, they lived out about half their lifespan with me. I was a single reclusive male in my 40s...those were the best years of my life by far, I never knew how deep such bonds can grow. People need dogs to show us how to live.

Patrick Marchand it is unlikely they’d find a suitable home for three big dogs like that. Or at least it would take an impractical amount of time. They were atop a mountain. These dogs were feral, and 100 lbs. plus, each. It took 3 or 4 rescue groups working together to mount an involved operation to get them down safely without traumatizing them further. Several people sustained minor injuries during the process. You only saw the end result of the lady being on the mountain with the dogs, you didn't see how she would get up there. But I get it, animal control sucked on this one 🎯🎯🎯🎯❣️

There are LA based animal rescue who capture abandoned street animals, get vet care and rehome dogs and cats often from places animal control won't respond to. Animal control would euthanize a large guard dog breed like this. But God bless this lady for not giving up on these poor abandoned dogs and getting help getting them off the wild area. Nice to see the vegetation growing back after wildfires decimated the area.

It's not their job to capture every feral animal. They're supposed to deal with animals that are causing a nuisance for people, and it's another department's job to do pest control in parks. At the very least, they could have put out a call for people qualified to do that sort of rescue in that terrain. You know, coordinate the effort, contribute a capture pen, leashes, food, something at least. There were countless options for them to be helpful in some way, in lieu of performing the rescue themselves. Such an odd and callous response from them.

Besides it being incredibly difficult to find an appropriate home for three large dogs, there are some behavioural reasons why they are be thriving in independence from each other. They still get to see each other but have really become their own dogs. Anyone who’s concerned should check Instagram. They are going so so well.

im from south italy and know these type of dogs very well, yes they are strong and can be very dangerous, but thinking that these dogs can win a fight against a hungry wild cat is for my oppinion stupid .. the only reason wy they are still alive is because they are a pack of 3 dogs .. a wild cat (mountain lion) cant risk of geting injured in a fight because that could be his death in the wild, so he will choose a easier pray befor geting in a fight with a pack of 3 large dogs ... the funny thing is that if he would attack one of these dogs maybe the other 2 Dogs would not try to save his live untill death .. thats what nearly all domesticated dogs do no matter witch race they are

The Important thing to say is that nearly all the Mastiff Breeds all over the World are descend from the Roman Pugnax .. like the Dogo Argentino, Great Dane and so on ...
