Nah, they're pretty clever if you move at a reasonable speed they'll make sure to move. That said, they are very happy to stand under you while you're filling up a hay rack or passing out leafy greens. Most of my piggies have had veggies on their head or back at some point.

I hope they aren't multiplying as cute as they are.

I think so too. But, you gotta wonder just how much their food bill is for the little piggies. Oh well, babies' gotta eat to be happy.🍓🍒🍎🍉🍑🎉💖💖🙏

@@vanessahenricks1925oh, I’m sure it’s massive, but money well spent 😊 It’s so nice seeing animals living their best lives & being treated so well. Hopefully they grow some of their own veggies, I’m sure that would bring costs down quite a bit.

And to think some people eat guinea pigs 😮

God it would take forever to clean and upkeep. It’s expensive and probably smells bad in there.

I had guniea pigs too, when I was a kid and I can tell you that, if you spent a lot of time with your piggies, I doubt that they were unhappy. ☺☺

@@yaldabaoth2they have sponsors and donations to help with the cost, but they also pretty much live for their guinea pigs. They don’t spend their money on a lot of the things most people do in order to help pay for the piggies. He is retired from the military and built all the guinea pig structures himself, and they saved money throughout their marriage to finance her dream of having a large guinea pig herd. Some folks might save so they can buy an RV and travel or buy a fishing boat when they retire, but this couple chose to save and plan for a large guinea pig herd. So yeah, while it’s not for everyone, it’s a matter not of being wealthy, but of their priorities.

Check out LA guinea pig rescue on youtube for learning how to take care of them. Even if you decide at the end to "only" adopt a pair of boys, it's worth it ❤ I have 4 piggies from shelters. They are goofy little characters 😊

If you decide to adopt a pair of boys, they will make a very grateful waste disposal of leftover veggies and salads 😂
