This Dog is an introvert's worst dream

As someone with social anxiety, this right here would put me in a nervous sweat

I find it absolutely wholesome how the whole crowd cheered at the dog when he finally decided to move

I love the fact that he loves his owner too much to let him leave alone. "Yes I love the park but I love you more."

Dog should win an Oscar for that performance. He had the audience hooked. Didn’t get the standing ovation but the cheering was well deserved.

Cute. The owner had absolutely no idea that when he walks away looking at his pet, the dog knows it's still in control. Had he just unleashed him and not looked back when he walked away, like he did the first time and the last time, the dog would have followed him. But wow, the patience he had with this adorable pup was Saintly. 🏆 He must really ❤ him!

Lol, I can totally relate. My goldendoodle Barley Barker used to do this to me when he didn't want to leave a place. He was a therapy dog, and it was especially hard if he decided he didn't want to leave a facility we were visiting. Awkward for me, but people were happy that he didn't want to leave them. He was 90 pounds, so I couldn't pick him up. I had to use the same tactics as this guy in the video (i.e., drop the leash and pretend to leave him). It was always kind of alarming to walk away from Barley, but he'd eventually follow me. He died this past July from hemangiosarcoma, and he would have turned 14 next week. I miss him so much, though I'm grateful to have had nearly 14 years with him. The blessings from dogs outweigh the occasional embarassment.

I would be so embarrassed and just lift the dog and get the hell away from that place. 🤣🤣🤣

my beagle has done that so many times. Once a couple stopped in their car and offered assistance. They thought he had been hit by a car. I told them no, he 's just being a jerk

My social anxiety would never be able to handle this.

Every time we go outside my dog does that to get tummy scratches because it almost always works. It can take 2h to walk 100m with him because every walker by wants to pet him and he absolutely loves it. He is a rescue dog and had lived all his life outside, tied up and alone and he definetely deserves all the love in the world. I take him to run free in fields and dog parks for exercise.

Just got a golden retriever recently and it’s incredible how she does the exact same thing to me on our walks lol she even had her specific spots in the neighborhood that she prefers to do her anchoring squat on lol luckily tho she doesn’t like being left behind and will come running to me once i drop the leash and say bye but golden retrievers truly are the most wonderful breed ever. I’ve never felt so much love and on top of that she’s the smartest dog I’ve ever met. I’m not even an experienced dog owner nor anywhere near a good trainer yet she’s learned every trick I’ve ever tried teaching her and picks things up in a matter of minutes

He's like our 11 year old man. He's a mixed breed and we got him from a hungarian shelter, when he was five month old. He's a stubborn little spirit and we love him like hell.

I love the part where everyone cheers for the dog finally getting up and he starts wagging his tail in excitement in reaction to them. He was clearly playing the crowd, and it was adorable. He's not the first dog to play that move at the park, and he won't be the last.
