This right here, is why as many kids as possible need to be raised with some type of animal in their lives. Look at the compassion he has at only 2 years old. We need this everywhere.

So long as the parent is teaching the child to be loving towards the animal and keeping a constant eye. I grew up with dogs and my parents were too self absorbed to notice when we’d pull their tales and get bitten from it. They always did the selfish thing of getting rid of the dog only to replace it with another one later. To this day I don’t understand why they had dogs when they couldn’t even take care of their children.

My family didn't get a dog until I was 13 but that didn't stop me from being obsessed with dogs before then. My Grandparents had a farm dog and my aunt and uncle had dogs so I wasn't completely underexposed to dogs but I never experienced the true affection of a dog until our second dog because she's just so cuddly!

The way that Rey was constantly staring at the belly, even when they are out for a walk, was so sweet. She knew how important it was.

Absolutely, I would NOT allow that to be done to my sweet girl either. Her ears are so perky on their own that they look like they've been set on rollers 😂.

What I really loved seeing is a parent that is properly teaching a very young child how to treat a pet. Too many times I've seen parents sit back while their child is far from gentle with their dog, and the dog will always be the one to pay if the dog reacts to ear pulling or tail pulling. This mother said as soon as her son reached toward the dog "nice and gentle buddy"...loved that!

They give us so much. They protect us, they keep us going when we don’t think we can. They teach us responsibility, humility, kindness, compassion, patience and forgiveness. Most people spend their entire lives trying to embody these characteristics. Just look at what they do for children. Every child needs a dog/pet/companion.

Some cats can feel to when someone is pregnant. When my mother was pregnant 29 years ago, she don't know that. Until the cat layed on her belly, that something the cat don't do before. We had 2 dogs that time to and they became more protective.

_I have experienced this firsthand!_ I believe it's something hormonal, akin to a service dog smelling out certain issues. When it happened to me I remember thinking how many thousands of years this could have been happening. Imagine domesticated dogs always watching out for pregnant women and small children! Wondrous! ❤🐾

This made me cry. I'm so sorry about the loss of your daughter. Your son is not only beautiful outside, but more importantly inside. Rey is why I love animals. I had a hard time getting pregnant, and when I did, my Siamese cat Jet'aime was by my side the whole time, Even played with my belly when the baby would kick. He always stayed in whatever room the baby was in throughout the day. God sent animals down to earth to help humble and guide us. Thank you for sharing your story.

This video really touched me and I bawled my eyes out because I went through a similar situation only I adopted my dog after the loss and he was the best therapy for me. He was not just as a companion he was pretty much my baby but yes I think having the responsibility helped me gain the strength to keep going. Now I am pregnant again but I am not getting any extra attention on my bump! I hope he is able to be okay with sharing the love and they bond as well as this pair

Dogs are part of our spirit family. I believe they can see things that we cannot. Once when I video my dogs, when I reviewed the footage, I could see orbits all around them. Sometimes my dog growls in a corner of my room. I don't want to know what she sees. Rey is a beautiful dog who connected with her brother in the womb. God bless Rey and her family. May they continue to have a happy and healthy life.

When I was pregnant with my son we lived with his dad's sister. She had a vicious chihuahua that bit everyone except his sister. He got me a few times and I avoided being near him until I got pregnant and I couldn't avoid him. He became very protective of me and would bite anyone that made a fast movement in my direction. He slept on me and followed me everywhere. After I had my son, we went right back to where we started. So strange.
