Sad fact: The card that Blitz's father was giving to Fizz said "I wish you were my son" which might sound wholesome but don't forget Blitz's dad was very manipulative and didn't care about his son. So the message probably meant that Cash would prefer Fizz to be his son instead of Blitz, which is just horrible

Just wanna point something out, in Blitzø's flashback he was gonna give Fizzaroli a flower and an envelope with a heart on it and texts that says "for Fizz's eyes only". Possibly a love letter?

One fan theory in this episode is that, the reason why Fizz and Ozzie occasionally press foreheads and nuzzle each other is due to the fact that Fizz's limbs have no sense of touch, and that, aside from his body, his face is more sensitive, this makes it all the more precious and cute to know that their physical love language is through nuzzles

The voices of Fizz and Asmodeus are both broadway stars. So, pretty big names. The actor for Asmodeus plays the Genie in Broadway's Aladdin, and Fizz plays Beetlejuice from, well Broadway's Beetlejuice. So it's pretty impressive that Vivzie got them both to play some roles, but even more so they're TOTALLY on board. Asmodeus' voice actor even was in the Hazbin Hotel pilot in a small part, and he plays Vortex too. They also consistently voice their characters, as opposed to Striker, whose original walking dead fame actor was likely too busy to come back for the last couple episodes and is voiced by a new actor. This is the first and only episode to date where the other members of IMP are not featured AT ALL. Richard Horvitz, who voices Mox, also voices Crimson, so he's still there in that capacity, but M and M and Loona are NOT present at all, even just their voices off screen. Imps have naturally red skin, as is obvious, but some of them like Blitzo have white patches. Those are SCARS, and we just saw Blitzo got his scar from that accident with the Hellfire (the special green fire that can hurt Imps). Fizz's ENTIRE FACE and much of his body is white. He got MESSED UP in that incident. Not as bad as Blitzo's mother though, who was KILLED in that fire. No wonder his sister wants nothing to do with him. And no wonder Blitzo hates himself so much. This episode is just an AVALANCHE of backstory and lore and motivations! It's SO GOOD.

I still like how when the chips are down, Blitzo puts himself between his friends and danger to shield them.

I like the detail of the meeting with Stolas being scheduled during Ozzie's lunch hour. Notice how he ate the whole bowl of candy while Stolas was talking.

This episode confirmed a fan theory based on various clues and symbolisms that Blitzø's life fell apart because because of a fire, causing his face scars, killing his mother, potentially his father, causing Fizz to be a quadriplegic with his horns destroyed and nearly every part being burned, the destruction of his family's circus, and rift between him and Barbie. Here's a Breakdown cause this was foreshadowed brilliantly: We learn early on that Blitzø and his sister were in the circus. In 1.01 we learn that injuries to imps leave white scars. In 1.02 we see Blitzø used to work at Loo Loo Land as an unsuccessful clown with Robo Fizz. Blitzø inadvertently sets the circus on fire causing Robo Fizz to sustain burns over his right eye, mirroring Blitzø. Leading people to speculate Blitzø's white facial scar was a burn. In 1.03 we learn Blitzø and Verosika dated while Blitzø was her bodyguard. We learn Barbie was in rehab after "washing up". In 1.07 we learn that Fizz is an Imp with cybernetic arms and legs, has likely no horns under his floppy jester hat, and has a grudge against Blitzø. We learn when Blitzø looks back through his photos that he had his face scar when he dated Verosika but not when he and Fizz were friends as children and teens. And we learn that Blitzø is traumatized by a family photo of him, Barbie and his mother who Blitzø now wears her skull broach. In 2.01 we see Blitzø and Fizz at the circus owned by his father Buckzo, who favors Fizz much higher than his own son. We also see when playing with Fizz, Blitzø's horse had it's legs removed and bleeding a lot, causing Fizz to recoil. This led people to speculate this was foreshadowing Fizz's injury. In 2.05 we learn Barbie hates Blitzø for ruining her career and subsequently her life. This culminated with the theory that Blitzø caused a fire at the circus, killing his mother, causing Fizz to lose all his limbs and horns and be covered in burn scars, ruining his sister's career, and causing his own scars. This is the real start of Blitzø's self-hatred. He can't even look at his own face without seeing the scars reminding him of what he caused. That why Blitzø has all photos of him in his apartment have his face crossed out. But episode revealed that it was Fizzaroli's birthday and that Blitzø was going to confess his feelings for Fizz in a love letter but got jealous when his father handed Fizz a birthday card with "Wish You Were My Son" written on it. And that it was Fizz's cake that started the fire which set off fireworks that caused the bulk of injuries. Sorry it's a ridiculously long comment but the effort put into the foreshadowing and the community's effort piecing it together over 2 years is worth pointing out.

keep in mind when Ozzie was fixing Fizz's arm, where he takes the arm off and we see its mechanical- now think back to the opening, when fizz was in his nightgown, those arent knee high socks he was wearing, so basically only only did Fizz loose his horns in that explosion, he also lost both arms and legs too- (as its implied)

Fizz really be like "Don't blame me for being annoying. Blame how fun it is being annoying."😂 Also if anyone missed it the newspaper was claiming Ozzy was a hypocrite for claiming to be devoted to lust when he is clearly in a romantic relationship with his sex bot.

This episode was great. Good blend of action, comedy, and emotional drama. Y'all's reactions were absolutely spectacular. XD

It's amazing how much this episode packs in, while still making it all work so well! Stolas and Ozzie getting to hang out was fun, seeing Crimson and Striker team up was a fun way to showcase two villains in the same episode, and my gods, Blitz and Fizz's story of reconciling after the accident that scarred him for life... such incredible stuff!

Ayyyyy been waiting for your reactions!! I loved this episode so much! Things I picked up during all these reactions and such. 1) Ozzie though being the king of Lust is all about consent. He doesn't like people being forced to do stuff. 2) Ozzie is an extremely affectionate lover and shows how he cares and respects his partner Fizz. 3) It was for a brief moment but many people have freezed on the frame it shows when the fire started Blitz was going to give Fizz a love letter. For some reason Fizz couldn't bring himself to do it and dropped it on the ground while shoving the cake guy out of the way. 3) Now we know how Blitz got his face scar and how Fizz became a cyborg. Lost both his legs and arms and both horns. 4)We also got possibly an answer to Blitz's Mom, it is very likely she died in the fire. Which could explain Barbie's hatred toward her brother Blitz. 5)Despite getting so injured Fizz doesn't think himself broken. He is a disabled person who has found happiness and doesn't fully hate his life and how he got to it. We also saw his prosthetics break and malfunction, which is rare to see in shows and such. Add to it one of his little dogfly things was a white dog in a wheelchair. It is very inclusionary.

For some more knowledge on the relationship between Stolas and Blitzo, on their Instagram pages way back when they had Netflix dates and sent each other care packages when the other was sick. Any photos that Blitzo posted were commented on by Stolas, even drawings of horses. Stolas would say they looked nice or that he was improving. Blitzo even has photos of Stolas sleeping in his phone. All of this to say, Blitzo has always had a thing where he ends up with someone who is in some way better than him or he likes someone better than him and he has never thought that they could love him back. Whether it be his crush on Fizz or dating Verosika. Blitzo's only reason for thinking that Stolas does like him is his position and nothing else and it's almost infuriating.

Fizz and Ozz are both voiced by very talented Broadway actors. Ozz was the voice of the Geenie for Aladdin, and Fizz is Beetlejuice. This show pulls some great talent for voices. And this was a really great episode. FINALLY get to see what it is that Blitzo has been carrying around for so long that has messed him up so badly, and it's a doozy. And finally being able to talk to his one and only closest friend about it, he actually says what he's been fearing. The death of his mother was his fault... and he'd hate himself too if he were Fizz. And then "Actually, I do..." hate myself gets cut off by the mob dude. It's extremely crazy. That one night he cause the death of his mom, and blew his best friend up. That would mess with anyone deeply. Can't wait to see your reaction to the next one.

That distraction song is so amazing XD especially at the end when Fizz is obviously running out of material "Look at this! I Am Running out of places I can take this bit!" Fizz's design is just so cool in general.

A few moments I LOVED in this episode. 1. Asmodeus saying lust isn’t about force cause true. 2. Blitz HUGE character moment when he admits he hates himself for what happened in the past which explains A LOT about his character.

He lost his horns, arms and legs in the explosion, and the white is not clown paint its burn scars, hence why the burn on blitzo's face is the exact same as where the explosion hits him. Fiz is full on an quadruple amputee. So when hes going over the it didnt ruin my life, im not broken thing, its actually kinda him doing the hey im still alive and me and can still do stuff and be himself dealy. Its as touching and as motivational as a show about demon porn, explosions, and 20+ deaths an episode sometimes can be XD.

There was a small detail at the end of the episode where Ozzie was getting the scissors and Fizz got triggered by it. I think that is a good detail to include, showing that dispute how he is trying to blow the whole thing off, he is still effected by it. And also the fact that one of his dogs is physically disabled is so cute!

Someone pointed out that Ozzy and Fizz mostly cuddle and nuzzle. They went on to say that this could be because Fizz's limbs are prosthetic, leaving his head and body as the only places that can really feel Ozzy's touch.

Fizz basically did the musical equivalent of pointing behind someone and saying, “Look, a distraction!”

Also, it feels very much like Blitzo's dad was the one who intentionally kept them apart. Told them to tell Blitzo Fizz didn't want to see him, and made sure no one mentioned Blitzo had come to see him. That tracks very much with the relationship between the 3 of them.

And folks should not expect Ep 7 until at least late November. It's gonna be a big one like 1.07 and 1.08 cause we meeting another Sin! (Only saying this because the next episode is literally titled "Mammon's Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special")

Something I just noticed is that shortly before the 10:14 mark. Crimson tells Ozzie to give him what he wants if Oz wants Fizz back. Crimson never specified what he wants verbally and only leaves it to the extremely long contract. So Crimson basically had the long contract to keep Ozzie busy or for him to announce the contract fair in a rushed rage to get Fizz back. He didn’t know that Stolas would be there which gave Fizz and Blitz time to escape on their own rather than have Ozzie (and maybe Stolas too) save them. Also. I wanna see Ozzie and Stolas in their full demon forms kicking ass one episode. That’d be awesome!

You asked about Ozzie's VA and I didn't see any answer in the quick scroll I did. He's voiced by James Monroe Iglehart. He also voices Vortex and a few others. He's most well known for his Tony Award winning performance as Genie in Aladdin on Broadway, as well as taking over as Lafayette and Jefferson in Hamilton after Daveed Diggs left the cast. He was also Lance in Tangled: The Series. He's an amazing, and hilarious, actor and I'm so happy to see him getting so much love in this series. Fun tidbit: He was also in the Hazbin pilot as the dude in the bar during Charlie's interview. The guy who says "Is this girl serious?" and laughs at her.

When they mention not the “miscommunication” between Blitz and Fizz, it was more likely an active effort to keep them separated than anything else. Blitz likely reached out after Fizz got talent scouted, and the person in charge of Fizz either ignored it cuz they didn’t believe that Blitz actually knew him, maybe seeing him as a creepy fan lying to meet their fave celebrity, or they actively chose not to tell Fizz because they didn’t want him getting bad publicity by socializing with some loser nobody that he used to know.

So Fizz (Alex Brightman) and Ozzie (James Monroe Iglehart) are both famous Broadway stars. Fizz being Beetlejuice and Ozzie being the Genie from Aladdin. They have also both done voices and live appearances in other shows, but as one off characters mostly.

This is a great episode and Fizz and Ozzy are so great together, I hope we get to see more of them and other cute couples like Beelzebub and Vortex. (Asmodeus and Fizz are in the next episode too but you know... MORE) Just some notes. The subtitles actually have some interesting jokes in them, worth checking out next time. At the beginning Fizz throws out a news article calling Asmodeus a hypocrite as he is dating Fizz with love instead of lust, and his public image is anti-love and Fizz wants to protect Ozzie from the shame. Asmodeus being called the weakest of the Sins was definitely a shock, other than Lucifer being at the top it wasn't known their power ranking but it was assumed Asmodeus was in the middle or the Sins were all equal except Lucifer. In case you didn't know Asmodeus's crystals are the normal way to get to the living world and also gives them disguises, normally just for the Succubus but Barbie Wire (Blitz's sister) had one as well. Moxxie and his dad Crimson have the same voice actor. Asmodeus also shares a voice actor with Vortex, that hellhound Loona likes. Asmodeus's voice actor was on Broadway in Hamilton, Fizz also has a Broadway actor who played as Beetlejuice. That scene... oh boy. Using background details many people basically knew that there was a fire at their family circus which killed Blitz's mom, destroyed Fizz's body (he's almost all white meaning he's almost all scars and his hat hides his broken horns and Asmodeus is the only one allowed to see from the start), and gave Blitz his face scar, though we didn't know all the details (that it was a accident) nor the date (15 years ago). Also what caused Blitz to run was his dad gave Fizz a card saying "I wish you were my son", also Blitz was holding a card "for Fizz's eyes only" with a heart on it with a flower, he loved Fizz (was suspected) and he was going to confess it which makes it all the more tragic. Now we know the story Blitz tells himself to convinced himself that Stolas doesn't love him and it seems to overlap with the reasons why he thinks that no can love him, last time he tried opening his heart was with Fizz and we saw how that turned out. Next episode is coming out before the end of the year and it will be about Mammon with Fizz&Asmodeus. Mammon is the Prince of Greed and its Sin, he has been a reference since "Loo Loo land" and seems to be some big bad and even Asmodeus isn't a fan of him. Hazbin should have come out by now but with the strikes there has been no info on what's happening.

Do you know about Alex Brightman? Basically, he is Broadway Beetlejuice. I didn't think Beetlejuice would work as a musical, but Alex has some awesome talent. Also, Ozzie is played by the Broadway Genie from the Aladdin stageplay.

One of my favorite things about this episode is how obvious it makes it that an Imp's white skin markings are scars.... Which raises a lot of questions about certain Imps' markings, considering some are extremely intentionally put there (like Barbie Wire's)
