That would be tough, since everyone's outside trick or treating on Halloween, and it would be hard to get the message out, and most people would dismiss it as a Halloween prank.

Vampire bats are real, but they are just normal bats that make a small cut on living things, and suck a little bit of blood out. They also eat fruit ^_€
