Great game ! Not the result I was hoping for but the U's were value for it some superb strikes and also a few gifts to be fair. very friendly outside the ground as well ,had a pint with of couple of U's fans- one of them who was on crutches was basically a stand up comedian if you'll forgive the pun. Thanks for the hospitality CU all the best for season Bert, Notts

Great game and top performance for the U’s. If there was any justice in the world that’d be that ref’s last game. He was shocking and only spiralled further as the game went on.

I am amazed the way defenders on both sides let players pass them and then give up. And there was so much room for both sides in the middle of the pitch

Notts weakness is exactly what Wrexham is, defense. NC does much better at holding the ball, so it doesn’t bite them as often. Just have to beat that high line they play

Very strange decision on the free-kick goal. Seemed a clean slide tackle and their player wasn’t even appealing for it

It's a real shame how referees are so overprotected that players can't question why there wasn't a foul on them when a player cuts across them which stops them getting into the box, if there's any commin sense by the people making the rules they'd use their authority and overturn such double yellow offences

Referee by the second third of the game had an agenda against Colchester and it was very clear to see in that situation they need to swap the ref with the fourth official because he completely lost the plot with both yellows and the way he sent him off as well shocking ref both him and the red card need to be in review

Agreed. Samson Tovide yet again pulled about kicked and punched all game and quite a bit of it in front of the refs and linesmen and gets no protection. Then when he got frustrated he was given a yellow. Becoming a common theme this season. Superb performance from the U's great heart from both teams 👏

Anyine can see why McGeehan was annoyed with the ref, (even if he's stupid to swear at the ref) - he gets taken out as he tries to join the attack. I don't blame the ref, because he can't look everywhere at once, but why don't linesmen ever see ANYTHING?

We're so fragile at the back. Weird that Notts and Wrexham have already conceded 42 goals between them. In fact we've conceded as many as Tranmere and they're second to bottom, yet we're still top!
