When you find your person, your true love, you get disgustingly sweet and give onlookers cavities. Can we just take a moment. We have come to a place in society where there are people actually cheering when two lesbians kiss on TV, rather than boo and yell abuse. Yes, there is a long way to go, but it is just so beautiful that many of us can love and appreciate someone else's love.

You could tell the gift meant so much to Ellen. The thing that amazes me is when “Portia said that Ellen always says that she feels like she hasn’t done enough.” Ellen has done so much for this world not only in the LGBT community but all over the world with her inspirations to be kind to others and to never be afraid to be yourself even when it seems the world is against you. I’m so glad Portia and Ellen found each other and support each other.
