***** Well for me death is just a natural thing that happens. when a celeb dies, it's no different than someone you've never heard of who died the same day. But when you're raised watching a man in movies and such you get a somewhat connection to them.

I couldn't say this better myself. There have been some major celebrities that have passed, but this is the one that hit me. A true talent. And some of the characters he had played are simply inspirational. Dead Poet Society made me want to be a teacher. Good Will Hunting made me want to be a psychologist. He is such a loss to the entertainment world. This brought a tear to my eye.

It's incredibly sad...but thanks to modern technology, we'll always have him. We'll always be able to watch Mrs Doubtfire or Mork & Mindy or his standup and laugh because of him. His body may be gone, but the person he was will always live on.

It's hard to imagine right? This man, who could bring so much laughter and happiness to others to be suffering to the point of taking his own life.... It truly was a quiet but fierce battle. I wish he had been more open about it. just so that we as fans could've done more for him. it's the least we could've done after everything he did for us.

+Shini Ryuga No. Anyone who knows even a little bit about depression would not be surprised by Robin Williams' suffering or suicide. Have you never heard of the saying that people who seem excessively happy can sometimes be severely depressed? Stop thinking that anyone with X condition needs to show Y symptoms. The only thing Williams' death made me realize is the man may have been depressed for a longer time than anyone knew. For all we know, his excessively "happy" exterior was an overcompensation for how miserable he felt inside.

He actually had Lewy body dementia. It is diagnosed via autopsy. It explains a lot. It's a horrible disease. He probably wanted to end it before it took his quality of life and made living more miserable. Look it up. So sad.

Micheal Hernandez he committed suicide because he suffered from a very serious illness called depression. If he had died from cancer, you would not be saying something so downright disrespectful - so why do you think you have the right to say it in this case? Maybe his illness wasn't visible to everyone, but it was real. You are entitled to your religious beliefs, but you are not entitled to saying such thoughtless things to people who are grieving. Robin Williams was an amazing man who deserves to be honored, and it's not up to you to decide how that's done.

Sydney Meg If you are talking about the English pop star, he's still alive. We are referring to Robin Williams (who is the man in the clip with Ellen). He was a very famous actor/comedian and he committed suicide in August 2014. It's hard to imagine anyone not knowing who is is. Even very young children because of the roles he play or voices he did in animated movies.

I actually meet him when I was really young. He was visiting all the kids in the hospital. He's actually super shy and reserved. But he's super nice.

I suffer from major depressive disorder and an anxiety disorder and it really is usually a silent war. I mean, everyone in my life is aware I have it, but it's inappropriate in situations like this to say, "Hey, I love playing this game and I'm having a great time, but there's a hole in my chest and it feels like all my emotions have been diffused from my brain." Seeing Robin Williams here makes me happy because as everyone else does, I miss him dearly. But at the same time, knowing he was suffering from such internal anguish at this time only makes me wish he had been more forthcoming with his illness. It's bittersweet, but even after death, Robin Williams taught us another valuable lesson like he always did when I was growing up. This lesson though, cost him his life but has shed so much more light on mental illness to the point where people are finally starting to take it seriously. The stigma is slowly fading away and educating people about suicide and the symptoms that come with those thoughts can only help those who feel as if no one truly cares.

We should all be envious of Robin that he's no longer dealing with the pain and suffering from this world, and no longer battling his own demons. Now he can enjoy true freedom. Even though we didnt know him personally, he was in our lives and our homes quite often. To me that means he played a BIG part in our lives. I myself grew up watching Robin and now, my own children love and enjoy him as much as I did. I'm sure there are many many other ppl that can say the same. Farewell Robin, you will live on in your fans lives through all of the wonderful and unforgettable movies, shows, etc...You will be missed but never forgotten...:(

candysweet434 I think the diagnosis was Parkinson’s and dementia. But he also had some depression in his past, though I believe he had “over come” that, if you will. It was the medical diagnosis that made up his mind.

the day my mom told me robin had passed, I actually cried for hours straight just sobbing. I didn't watch another movie of his until about a year later. and now, after about 3 years, this is the first time I've watched a KZfaq video of him... so much love and respect for this man. ❤️🙏🏻

Robin Williams was literally that little spark of joy I had growing up like my childhood was just dedicated to his amazing movies and rolls he has played amazing actor he truly was he always put a smile on my face Jumanji was awesome and I also loved Mrs. doubtfire ! RIP Robin Williams we will never forget you

people in the comments are mourning robin Williams which is why i didn't want to look at the comments because i just want to remember him as he always was a funny, talented and a very alive person and i think that's what he would want us to do, not to mourn or miss him but to carry on loving what he did best while he was alive so please enough with the ''it makes me feel sad and we miss you crap because hes still here with us in our screens and our hearts.
