Former First Lady Hillary Clinton talked with Ellen about her Hulu documentary "Hillary," and how it was "emotionally draining" to relive the Monica Lewinsky scandal for the new docuseries.
Mrs. Clinton shared that she hopes her willingness to address difficult times in her own life will encourage others to be more supportive of people who have to make tough decisions that are best for themselves. She also responded to the President's impeachment acquittal, and revealed that she twice turned down former President Barack Obama's offer of the position of Secretary of State.

I have to say, I have the deepest respect for Hillary Clinton. I do believe she has been unfairly judged for being a woman, for being a strong woman, for standing by her cheating husband (hey, her decision to make...no one else’s) and for showing she can compete with men at the highest level (as a presidential candidate, as First Lady and Bill Clinton’s confidant, as Secretary of State, etc, etc). All political candidates are attacked...all people are attacked. I feel like this is an issue of society currently, where we allow and absorb peoples' commentary about us, but it's disproportionately worse for all public figures, regardless of political affiliation.
