Hi, I would like to ask, where did you get the 460kW electricity in ? How did you calculate the amount of electricity required to power the application ?

Is there an alternate calculation that doesn't involve BTU/hr for systems that do not provide the necessary info to calculate that value?

Sir the video is really interesting and informative, keep uploading such articulated topic videos. I have a question, when you put electrical KW in an equation, is it a KW consumed at that particular point of time or is it an hour average reading or a full day consumption. As to calculate at that particular time KW = V•I•√3•PF is applied so should I do that way. Please advise.

What I do not understand is why you used only the compressor's power requirement. There is also a pump that is pumping the water right? Shouldn't that be added to the required electrical power?

+Muhammad Zaroon very good question, you've got the engineering mindset. The chiller, heat pump or AC unit is just moving thermal energy from one place to another, it doesn't generate the thermal energy. To move it you must put energy in, so it will s still a loss it just just doesn't seem so. Electricity is a high value energy source because you can convert it to anything but heat is a low Energy source as you can only heat with it. So you're using a valuable energy to move a less valuable energy. The thermal energy it moves is not enough to power the unit. You can't capture the heat and convert it to electricity to drive the compressor, it will never provide enough power to do so.
