They don't become teens and then get the option to transition.. In create a sims you can mess with that stuff, but 'natural born' sims would require the use of a cheat to switch anything gender related. You can wear any hair or clothes item no matter your gender at any age though (except baby, they're useless xD).

It's now 2020...the dlc just keeps getting worse. It's free on PS4 this month..then you can spend over $100 adding the content they cut to make it a full game. And EA still hasn't learnt.

***** Bit of advice, you want sims and expansions for cheap, go on Ebay. There's a beautiful circle of us that sell the game disks on to other people for like £5, then we install it and sell the disk on again to make back the money and include a new person in the ring. All the money to us and we pay basically nothing, and EA can suck it.

seasons was a DLC in all the other sims games (minus 1 I dont think 1 had seasons at all can´t remember if 2 had seasons). So I let it slide problem is that the Sims 3 session DLC/expansion contained a lot more both in pure items and stuff and gameplay then sims 4 did. same whit pets minus in the sims 1 we had dog and cats and it was basic. 2 dont recall. (did 2 have wild wolfs) 3 we had dog, cat, horses and wolfs, small pets like fish and guni pigs. sims 4 pet we got cat and dog. gunipigs was its own DLC. and still no horses in 4. and the amount of items and content is really shallow.

@@cookieface80 I think its because most peeaple know that cranking all the content from let say sims 3+expansion+DLC. into the Sims4 base game is just not feasible. and we know that, asking for that is just telling the devs to not bother. so we accepts that the sims 3 sesions DLC will be a DLC in the sims 4 what we are not okey whit is the Sims 4 seasion DLC been smaller content and gameplay then the sims 3 seasion DLC and thats where the shoe have been pinching. its not that we have gotten the same DLC/expension in the sims 2. 3 and 4 but that the sims 4 expensions have been smaller compared to the sims 3 and 2 expensions.

No wonder they try pushing DRM, there are people that pirate games. Although it doesn't really work for them. Some games are good at combating pirating, but EA is lacking in that regard.

The Sims series has always been a cashcow since the second installment when they started focusing more on the downloadable expansions rather than the base game; it was still fun (of a sort, for a very specific player-base in mind) but it set a trend that EA ran headlong into the ground.
