The Dutch CV90 being slotted into France makes no fucking sense. The Dutch have very tight military cooperation with Germany so it should;ve either just been in the Swedish tree due to being made in Sweden or in the German tree due to the tight military cooperation.

Its dumb, Germany is pretty lacking in high tier IFVs. The PUMA is trash, the Begleit is the last one worth the effort, the Netherlands has basically no relation with the French military besides also being in NATO@@michielhens833

About the Takanami, gszabi actually confirmed that this is not the WW2 Yuugumo-class IJN Takanami but is instead actually the modern Takanami-class JS Takanami, which entered service in 2003. Will be interesting to see how it's implemented, since like most modern ships, it doesn't have much armament apart from the VLS cells.

@toopink4death492 We already have a few CIWS in game mainly soviet ones on the Project 68bis & Project 1331M & Project 1241.2 an iirc weaponry used in other CIWS systems just used as main armament eg JM61 found on the No.1 class hydrofoil & Breda 40 mm/70 cannons in the Type 107 mount on the Freccia class Motoconvertibili. So if added I could see Takanami class destroyer without missile armament & the Phalanx as secondary armament used by the player as I doubt it'll be an update where CIWS mechanics are added. General thoughts, I kinda hope it ends up as a coastal TT warship getting sat after the Ayanami class Destroyer for the light weaponry would make it be placed snuggly in those TT & I can't see it getting the Type 90 AShM any time soon since the No.1 class doesn't have em yet ntm it would play like a larger Project 1331M corvette with the light weaponry but just as deadly due to it.

My best guess is that Japanese Naval forces are making bank for Gaijin, at least compared to the other nations in Naval. I imagine alot of people have spent money on that tree waiting for the Yamato, Its the logical explanation as to why they get so many vehicles.

I don’t know why but in my opinion Yamato will be dead on arrival, it’s such a massive and op battleship that it have to be added alongside more modern stuff which should be easier to counter it with, I personally went with Russian tree because I like their modern destroyers

If you ever play Naval once, USSR and US is more cash grab than any other nation. Played multiple times for this battlepass because I need three kill, stop at one kill after watching USSR literally sinking one destroyer with one anti air missile in 4.7 when every single ship still using weak cannon or get obliterated every single round by USS Mossfett premium. Most player is also chinese using premium so the trust factor is also low.

With how iconic these massive battleships are, I feel like Gaijin will definitely make the Yamato, Iowa, etc the center of an update, and give them at least a little time in the light before adding more modern stuff to shred them apart with missiles

Finns also had one KV-1 1942 cast turret variant which they captured in 1942. It took part in the Tali-Ihantala battle and took some battle damage. Currently the tank is located in Parola armour museum next to the KV-1E. I have waited for that KV-1 variant for a very long time.

What frustrates me the most is that the M8 Greyhound was one of the most used armored cars by the USA, it would make total sense for it to be an American reserve tank. But no, of course it's a marketplace vehicle. And in China it's a reserve. So stupid

KV-1C is a welcome addition to the Finnish sub-tree, since just adding the already existing KV-1B would be followed by alot of complaining. Also I think the T-50 light tank should also be added to the Finnish sub-tree (or as a premium), since Finland was the only country along with the USSR to ever use it.

Sweden has plenty of low tier SPAA's and they are adding another one just for the memes, instead of adding the Lvkv m/43 to fill their huge gap between 4.3 and 7.0. The Lvkv m/43 is basically just a Lago but two 40mm Bofors autocannons and a quite fast turret rotation speed of around 50 degrees per second. It's like a better Ostwind 2 that can also shred some tanks.

The Tiran 5sh/ Tiran 67 is in service in Uruguay's army, the uruguayan army made some modifications to it, mainly on the engine, transmission and optics. It would be a nice addition if they put it on the game, its not a very unique tank but at least Uruguay will have one of its tanks on the game.

We do have the Canadian M4A5 in the premium tree in the US, which is the Ram II and I think if Canada does get a sub-tree into War Thunder, I think it should go to the US tech tree. I am excited to see more Israeli tanks too.

There are plenty of vehicles for a sub tree, arguably too many. Personally I want the Mowag skorpion the most. I love little rate tanks. And it's basically an M22 with a 90mm cockeral.

I hope we see in another future leak list HMS Warspite, HMS Rodney, HMS Amethyst. For aircraft I would like to see the TSR2 and the Avro Vulcan and for ground vehicles the Matilda Mk1 or the Vickers Medium Mk2 would be interesting and I would love to see tanks from WW1 appearing in the game..

As a Canadian, i think it'd be cool to add a Canadian subtree, where will the said subtree go? not sure, sweden? wouldn't make sense though.. Japan maybe? Still wouldn't make sense, if anything the Uk or France, but the UK has too many vehicles already so more so, France that's what I'm thinking.

Afaik the G2 Jagdpanther uses 2 piece munitions while the G1 uses 1 piece? Do correct me on this tho

No it's still same ammo, however if it's a late G2 it should have the same transmission as Panther 2 and so better reverse speed

You might be referring to the gun barrel, the G1 had a monobloc gun barrel, and the G2 had a 2 part gun barrel

For the love of god, I hope Gaijin doesn't add the CV9035NL in the French TT. NL and France have absolutely nothing in common whatsoever regarding their militaries, except a single Dutch-designed interwar propeller aircraft. Combined with the fact that the "North Holland" map is literally just a reskinned Eastern Europe, and that we have still to receive the actual Dutch roundel, I am starting to feel that the devs at Gaijin really hate the Netherlands

Ngl this update could’ve just been a slightly bigger than usual patch. Its a majority of QOL stuff and Premiums. Literally maybe 5-6 things to grind and the other half are only purchasable. Even then the purchasable stuff is Mid at best. I know its usually a slow update being the first one of the year after the December banger but man this fell way shorter than normal. Anyways hopefully the 2nd one is decent this literally has nothing to bring people back for.

the CV9035NL being in france makes no sense since the dutch have their ground vehicles mostly being made from german vehicles gepards leopards their ifv's and afv's so france makes no sense

One thing that’s passed over a lot and I believe will be a major gameplay difference: The Jagdpanther G2 uses a later produced version of the KwK 43 with two piece ammo.
