This story has been done in so many versions. Last one I saw had something calked heaven and earth stance to replace the majic stance and a few other changes but guess what? ...still no part 2 that I've found. But the modern one I saw was pretty close to this

Well, there is actually a part 2 to this movie, albeit with different actors (since the original actors are too old to reprise their role by the time production began). The story starts where this movie left off, and continues on until Mo-kei managed to defeat the treacherous monk (who got away in this movie). You can actually find it here in youtube if you look.
