Another tip I have seen is filling the tank with only water, then putting smaller parts in mason jars with the cleaner only in the jar. Supposedly it works just as good, reduces how much cleaner you use and gives the option of using different cleaners.

Even zip lock bags work well for non pointy things.

might want to try this, mine I have filled with water but small parts I put into a paint cup with green or purple cleaner, saves clean up. also try cast iron,I refurbish old vises, and the ultrasonic brings it back to a clean cast without sandblasting.great tool, thx for the video.

Bought one three years ago..worked excellent...twice..then the transponders fell off the botton on the stainless sink...Have since learnt that not all ultrasonic cleaners are built the same...been thinking about fixing it of late but I am not allowed to do anything 'post surgery' and my sister is strictly enforcing a 'no working in the garage fool' policy until I have recovered. Got all the parts might as well go for it...BTW the worlds most annoying sound....The cleaner not my sister...who is a close second!!

Do they build anything that lasts anymore.

@@hydrostatic8048 Planned obsolescnce is a real thing...watched a 'Tube' video regards electric light bulbs whereby all the companies that made them came together to work out what was a reasonable time for their products to work before they failed...as they soon figured out that soon there wouldn't be any sales as their bulbs lasted for YEARS!! Its not a new thing its been an 'industry standard'.....for more than a century...I can't remember the channel it was on but a search may find it..unless its been dropped etc

I wonder if you put ExapoRust heated to 120 degrees °F? The rust might just fall away and wouldn't need to wipe them clean.

have a smaller one takes forever to heat up.. now just keep a kettle to boil water and load it up. The unit would never get as hot as the boiling water.

You're supposed to fill it up completely, otherwise it supposedly burns up the actuators
