I'm from the 757 and this city has always been known as a city you really don't want to go to. Also, you're pronouncing it wrong. It's not pronounced the way that it's spelled (Portsmouth). It's pronounced Portsmith just like they say in the video

I Live in Norfolk, VA 20 minutes away. Portsmouth is literally a war zone. LITERALLY shots heard all times of the day and insane murder rate.

I was born in Portsmouth va but moved when I was 3 or 4 years old. I never went back there until I went on vacation to Virginia Beach when I was 21 and decided to go check out where I was born and was mind blown when I saw what kind of place it was. I’ve been in ghettos and projects all over the place from east to west cuz I was a dope head for a lot of years but I just couldn’t believe how gutter it was out there

I have now came to the conclusion this generation wants to be locked up forever! Sitting in a damn prison cell thinking about how they fuc*** up there life! Being a rapper these days is just horrible and not safe! Hell I bet the government already have blueprints in process on building more prisons 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄

Shame these kids are throwing their lives away. What is a seventeen year old man going to do. Growing up in a penal institution. There's nothing but agony and pain in the penitentiary. No women ,no car, no hope. We as blacks can do a lot better. My prayers are for everyone in this world. Forget the gun and live my people!!!!
