They're not that big today compared to those days. The decline of Minecraft's popularity around 2016 and 2017 was also another thing. This video was created in 2019 when Minecraft was becoming really big again

Well no. The hammer hits more powerful and kills everyone onehit which is stronger than fish the fish just has insane knockback but can act as a living being (what the hammer can't do) so they are equal.

Derp is not dumb because many of his fighting skills work despite the fact he doesn’t even wield a sword! This make him smart because he figured out how to make the impossible possible a great example is the fact that his fish pet can stop a sword, even though under normal circumstances it would be impossible, he is so derpy that he can dodge a blow when he sees a penny on the ground or land one in his sleep.
