Thanks for your honest review, I feel the gameplay is broken at the moment, it needs a big patch, and it feels worst then fifa23 for me.

The biggest frustration on this game is the Defending. That used to be my strong point in Fifa but this is just horrible. Player switching is terrible and when it does eventually switch it takes a year for them to start moving. AI defending also just standing around.

I dug out my old copies of FIFA 08 and PES6 and they're still more fun all these years later

I have been watching your videos for some time and I can really feel it when you say I want this game to be the best football game ever. That is what we all want but the problem is ea doesnt have enough competition so they just give us the same thing. Years ago there was a feature where you could choose your kits shirt shorts and socks seperatly, building your own stadium expanding it, more autentic leagues and celebrations, custom goal music ext. These nice features are gone and they dont even put them back in so please be our voice and somehow deliver our thoughts to ea. Thank you for your honest review

Last years gameplay is a paradise compared to this year,goalkeepers feel invisible 90% of the time and get ball rolled by Harry maguire,the midfielders just can't seem to play a 5 yard pass for example my ultimate team o have Scholes and modric who both have insane passing yet struggle to play a straight line pass and the strikers either scuff an open goal or run the wrong way and the amount of rebounds and shite goals I conceded the list goes on.

The player switching is clearly rigged in certain matches. You’ll switch to 4 different players and not the one you wanna control

The defending is horrible in this game. It's frustrating and I've tried everything. Especially the manual tackling especially when you play against someone who seems to be moving quicker than. Might be my internet connection.

Mixing the female cards in ultimate team is a shocker, there should just be a female ultimate team if anyone wanted to play it, worlds gone mad.

Players skating all over the show going in for tackles results in both players on the ground the odd time but what really pisses me off is that when you clearly tackle and get the ball it magically falls back to them like it did last year,keepers are inconsistent just like last year i could go on but i already expected it to be wank and it hasnt disappointed in that but like a mug i bought it anyway

When you played player career,when you do a decision,sometimes it got stuck on the completed screen and the only way to get out of that is resetting the game

I had 0 issues on PC it was really smooth I just thought that they didn’t change anything to make it worth the price. I have 300 hours on FIFA23 I hopped on EAFC24 via the ea gameplay pass and it doesn’t justify the price they didn’t really do anything

Is anyone else getting a horrible banging noise in their games? Like as if it's fans banging drums? I've turned down all stadium noise and I can't get rid of it. It sounds like a damn building site!!

They need to allow you to pick every player from every year from 90s so i can play 2004 real madrid squad vs barca 2009 or the like. Would love to play with Henry, Zidane, Raul again but with modern graphics. The classic 11 side just is very limited and too strong, need the old teams.

Find myself that the turning point for this game becoming incrdibly bad was halfway through Fifa 18. Then Fifa 19 came out, which was bad but playable. Fifa 20 was worse, but gameplay was more enjoyable. From Fifa 21 the game went further downhill and I thought it hit rock bottom, but every successor was worse and much worse, with 23 being absolutely disgustingly bad.

FIFA 23 was buggy as well. I couldn't even run it on RX5500XT 8GB gpu. But it became better overtime. So keep hope

They keep doing this because they know there'll never be any competition because honestly, who's gonna play EFootball. People will always buy the game no matter what. I mean the game has just been downgrading year in year out, it omly gets worse, they add this cutscenes to just blind people, it's just frustrating. If only they loved their fans like Rockstar Games does.

Now now, Fifa 16 was the true, greatest fifa. No laggy menus, no brain dead passing assistance, responsiveness, several ways to score a goal, no disconnect and forced to reset the game 50% of the time when playing pro clubs...

The treatment of the career mode is unfair, especially when ppl spend so much money just to play that mode, there should be loads more attention on it. That said, UT is really not that bad, the defending is my only real issue with it though I don’t concede much. Ppl complaining about pace seems dumb though, pace makes some of the greatest players the greatest rn vini, Haaland, salah, mbappe all speedsters, so I don’t get the complaint when you can adjust your instructions for the most part. You have to work w what you have, just like real teams do

I wanted this to be amazing after playing pes 2021 football life and after my first game on Fc24, i felt like my passion for football fading when i was ready to fork out £100 for the ultimate package. Only to realise that Pes is for the people FC is for the fans

the one thing i hate the most about fifa is that it never saves my settings, sometimes it changes in game and sometimes it completely resets it

Why lineups and walkouts being removed in EA FC 24

Been playing FC24 for a few hours on my Xbox Series S and I have to say I'm just as disappointed as you. The atmosphere is worse than FIFA 23 and the games themselves look nothing like real football. Thank God for the 10 hour demo, it made me realize that buying FC24 would be just a gigantic waste of money

Not gunna lie ultimate team is so crazy now to defend it’s literally impossible I had 5 games in a row with a 10 plus goals combined. I got 2/5. The goal keeping is ass they have world class keeps slapping the ball in the net

I play offline with my friends most of the time, and personally this game currently is absolutely terrible. Reactions feel slow and laggy, defending is an absolute nightmare regardless of what players you have in your defence. Haaland EXTREMELY over powered. User interface is absolute terrible feels like I’m playing PES. Can’t change controller settings anymore to manually change players during game play and choose what you’d like assisted or not assisted during gameplay. The games feel extremely scripted, it’s the worst experience. I really hope with the update

When I go to a squad battle game (seeing classic) select your side it freezes ps4 pro, you are stuck then you get a loss on your record.. the match didn’t even started or loaded

Been playing on Xbox(series x) solid since early launch , played pro clubs and UT and not seen much in the way of glitches (invisible players etc) the game play is smooth ,so much better than anything I've played from EA released in years. So can't say I have the same view as your review at present . That said this was EA 's chance to cut away from the same old ... I'd like to see a NBA2k like city career mode that links, career , volta and pro clubs all under one roof, but I'm not sure we will ever see such a mode when UT is still the primary focus for them to make money.

Review is on point. And I can only say: Don't dive deeper into career mode. After 1-2 seasons the bugs just multiply. It's absolutely horrible. Even Fifa23 was better and that game already belonged in the trash. 😂

I'm very disappointed. I hadn't bought a FIFA game since '22 and pre purchased the ultimate edition to get early access. I really wanted the updated squads because I love to play a MLS career Pro. The game runs horribly and there is completely void of advanced graphics controls to refine the gameplay. Lagging and stuttering every time the camera moves in the slightest bit. Huge FPS drops and frame-time inconsistencies at all points in the gameplay but especially during camera transitions on a high end PC. Tons of little bugs to the point it makes you wonder how a game under such a large company gets released like it has.

Ofc is not good every fifa is not good at the beginning I hate it so much but I'm just waiting at least for a big update

In tactical view, they could of added certain manager (in game) instructions/shouts. And why not add in stadium edit like EA used to have in Fifa manager games in 2008,09,10 and 11? You could litterally build your own stadium from scratch. It was mint! This game is garbage, typical EA repeat the same shite, with slightly different fonts 😂

My friends and I love football and we decided to not get the game

If you play the game casually youll probably like it but if you play ultimate team at a decent level the gameplay is horrendous... Defensive ai is overpowered and attacking ai is non existent, theres like 5 different types of dribbling now which is extremely unnecessary and sometimes undefendable if your not using expensive defenders as the playstyle plus traits are extremely broken... I was elite on 22 stopped playing rivals on 23 cuz they tried adding skill based matchmaking to friendlies but i was still capable of 16 wins in weekend league but this year im in division 6 and im already struggling to break down defences. Only had the game a week but its not looking fun.....
