When ever there is a video with Chris and John , I legit get sooo excited and happy at the same time . I’m never dissapointed .

I thought the scene when the daughter went into the basement and saw all the stuff her dad researched after he died was a deep emotional moment.

You guys have such different personalities with pretty similar taste in movies. Thats why you guys work so well together.

Not true, those creatures were indestructible. No one figured out how to kill them until the end of the movie. I think they showed a video clip of one of the creatures getting blown up and being unaffected.

The one thing that bugged me about the movie was the concept of the monsters. The played it fast and loose with the lore of the creatures, they make an absolute rule that even the faintest sound - to the point that even whispering is forbidden - will attract these things. Assuming they stay away from persistent noises like rivers/waterfalls/etc, rain/hail must drive these things crazy. The blowing wind? Scattering leaves/debris? Insects? Cicada season?! Unlike with humans, you can't blindly hack and slash at insects. Emily Blunts character was able to divert attention using an oven timer, yet this age-old diversion tactic was ignored for the rest of the movie to fatal results. Throw a stone off somewhere?! People with eyes have been fooled. And last of all, they killed it. No. You do not kill a monster like this, in a movie like this. You open up a whole can of worms when you do so. Nobody else figured it out? In all that time, consider that the newspapers were still publishing when the hunt-by-hearing thing was discovered, hence some form of order (military perhaps) existed. No military-brain somewhere figured out that since they need sound to navigate, perhaps confuse or even stun them with high frequencies?! All in all, good movie, bad monsters.

Finally watching this video, a quiet place was one of those amazing movies that just slipped by me for whatever reason, I saw the trailer when it came out thinking “ok this looks good” and finally watched it over a year later. Great movie

Who would've thought that the two most interesting new horror movies would be directed by two comedy actors(Krasinski and Peele)?

The idea to use bomb to lure monsters was done in 'I am Legend'. The word Rocket is a deliberate misuse to call Fireworks, because the youngest son in in the beginning of the movie was too young to know what Fireworks is. The same boy misunderstanding of the word Rocket, ties-in with his drawing of a Rocket on the floor of the Pharmacy, in the beginning of the movie.

Im glad most people really enjoyed Krasinki’s film. That being said, I questioned the characters decisions every 5 minutes so that brought the movie down for me.

Dude, while watching this video, I just could not stop focusing John's "zombies ate my neighbors" shirt. When I saw it my jaw dropped because that was my favorite video game as a kid, but I had forgotten all about it. I'm a 32 year old adult, so seeing that shirt and the graphics of the two playable characters was like getting sucker punched by nostalgia and I was taken back to when I was a kid playing that game. It was fucking awesome and I NEED TO KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THAT SHIRT!

I love the first scene and that look of dread that all parents are familiar with when their child has a toy that is going to be noisy.

I didn’t think of sleep sounds! We snore like bears at our house. And my husband apparently works randomly at a Pepsi plant in his dreams, judging from his talking. (Wich is weird because Pepsi has nothing at all to do with our lives except at night when my husband wakes me up with his instructions on where I should stack the Pepsi crates)

I love it, i just keep thinking about the scene where the dad light a fire and you can see other fires in the distance and then when the kids do it, after the rockets, there is no fires. Did they had neighbors? Did they kill them with the rocket strategy?

I was watching at home with only my sister and my little niece, but i made the decision to have a large bag of kettle cooked chips and a bag of sour patch watermelons as a movie snack 😂😂 Took me so long to open it!

I guess this movie is one of those u had to watch it in theatre than at home to get that fear factor. I thought this was short n okey.. no I wasn't scared at any point.. well shot tho n really well done by john for his debut as a director. N that basement scene with emily hiding from tht monster was well made with good thriller n suspense

A Quiet Place was as smart as it was suspenseful. Definitely one of the best films of the year!

I thought this movie had some similarities to the last of us. The beginning with the boy dying reminded me of Sarah's death, the boy's sister taking the toy was like Ellie taking the toy to give to Sam, the creatures reminded me of the clickers in the game (blind, attack based on sounds) some of the scenery as well especially the opening shots gave me vibes of the last of us. With all that said The film was terrific, I loved it & great video john.

I want to see this now.

I was just thinking, what if everyone who was still alive built a gigantic sound proof box that talk or reaction KZfaqrs use and had a speaker to attract the creatures and they just locked up all of the creatures and dumped them in the river

I hope they make a prequel about how the alien invasion started, Maybe focus on a different family or the same family

I saw a scene or two with solar panels on the roof of the house, so there's their power source, I was questioning that myself.

I kinda want to see this but the only thing is I think it might be kinda weird for me because there's barley any dialogue I heard and I'm not used to seeing a movie with no talking. But I'll probably still check it out.

I think the movie shows it's hard for them to travel hence why they set up shop at home you see that there are other people when they light the fires at night but it doesn't look like they even communicate with each other cause for a long distance journey they can't do it by foot and possibly the fear of trying and either making noise and not making it or not having enough supplies to make it
