Sure but it can still be essentially an origin story. Spider-Man will explore his powers more, there's a love interest, and a couple over-the-top CGI fights between him and the villain of the week. He ultimately learns that with great power comes great responsibility. The director has made two movies before that both have poor reviews. There's 8 people credited as writers and none of them have done anything of interest. So you tell me why I should be anticipating this because I can't find any reason at all.

What is the point of a video like this if you're only going to read off a list of Hollywood blockbuster movies coming out? There's plenty of good directors with movies planned for 2017. Darren Aronofsky, Martin McDonagh, Richard Linklater, The Coen brothers are writing George Clooney's next movie, Roman Polanski, Joon-ho Bong, Andrey Zvyagintsev, David Fincher, Terrence Malick, Woody Allen, etc, etc. I could go on, you get the point. Finding this out took me literally 5 minutes. You CAN anticipate good movies that don't have marketing budgets of hundreds of thousands of dollars based on directors, writers, cinematographers and actors. I literally just looked up some of the directors that came to mind on IMDb. But no, I'm sure it is completely coincidental that the most anticipated movies of 2017 for these guys also happen to be the movies that are easy to find. I'm sure all these movies were considered but just didn't make the cut.
