The Vow "GT" is honestly kind of an engineering spectacle the more we think about it and ride it. Thanks again Stanley at ‪@vesconewheel‬ for sending this board for us to love on, and creating this thing in general!
In this video, we take a look at the Vow 100 volt VESC build against the Onewheel GT-S series and see who the king of range is. When it comes to range, the Onewheel GT-S may leave a little to be desired but what do you think? Which board is your favorite for range? Leave a comment below and let us know!

I feel attacked. I was watching your helmet straps flap in the wind and thought about how pointless a helmet is without it being secured right as you mentioned how mad I would be if you didn't buckle up.

@@c.daubz.5386 Yea and the ones that didn't are...? What is survivor bias? Feel free to choose whether you want to wear a helmet or not, but the very minor discomfort (ex:seatbelts / helmets) for the huge safety benefits has been proven. I'd imagine at least 90%+ of the survivors (and their families/friends) of a major accident advocate for helmet usage in most cases. Anyways, rock on brother

Thing 1) I AM BEYOND ECSTATIC to see over 32 miles capable!!! I deeply appreciate ya'll showing all of us the Dream board is more than possible, but probable! Thing 2) Excellent Fun/Real world range test! Would really help to know: Rider's weight, Temp°, average speed and tire size(s). PrayerFully this late summer ya'll will be hearing from me for a dream project.

If VOW boards become more accessible, FM will have a problem. Double the GT S battery and higher top speed are pretty wild, but we have to remember that the VOW board also weighs more.

Excited to see your video as always. Thank you for doing the range test! Finally a range test that actually hit the uppers limit. GT advertised as 20-32 Miles where as real rider can get between 17-24miles. When this one does goes 32 miles, no gimmick of advertised range.

Fyi for anyone playing at home. You really don't want to drop your cell voltage below 3.2v per cell; below that it's when you start getting into battery damage territory. 32 miles on a onewheel is pretty epic.

good video as always! There is someone in the Vescify working on a Grand Tour board where they are going to fit batteries in both the nose and tail, and stick the controller in the hollow hub of a Cannon Core It'd be fun to compare that board with FM and the Vow board when it's finished!

Vesc is the way, I got a Vesc shortly after y’all’s first video on Vesc (I was planning on it for a minute) I’ve never looked back. My board isn’t a range board at all so I find myself not riding it as much as I want to. I’d like to get a 84v pack but big in my xr frame, I’m rocking the small pack for now

Give Ruroc a look. Among the best on the market. I use the RG1-DX since I can take off the "face plate" if I want to go half-helmet for a second (or just eat😂).

I was thinking the same thing! The VOW used 95% and the GTS used 187%. I've seen like 10-20% range loss listed for GT over GTS so if we say 15%, it would probably have been close to 159% drained on the GT. In this setting the VOW has ~97% more range than a GTS and around ~67% more than a GT!

Yeah the way we ride we usually don't get great mileage with any board. A brand new fully charged GT we get like 22
