I guess he thinks this to be the Eiserneskreuz typ 3 which was used by the nazis but the color pattern is diffrent and also most of them had swasticas in the center. FYI The current highest award with the cross design is the "Ehrenkreuz der Bundeswehr für Tapferkeit" wich is in place since 2009 and has a diffrent origin in design.

I have to point out somethings. I'm starting playing a lot Ion recently(only G18 for now) but I've learned some tricks, and there's one that gives you free tripwires making the 2th kit pointless to use and make you prefer to use the 1th kit(my favorite) or the amplified vortex shield. When you ingage a fight with Ion the first thing to do usually is using the laser shot that'll half your energy, when a 2th laser shot will be available you must hold the button of the lasershot and while doing this press the button for the tripwire,they'll be gratis tripwire only when your energy is halfed(and also the lasershot will be shoot without doing all the animation). If interested, my last video is a 163k damages on titan brawl with Ion, there I used this trick.

Honestly, i hit the critical spots on titans near every game, because the critical spots are usually outlined as the primary cockpit. You always hit the critical spots, and therefore you can easily balance out any energy lose with energy gain

Well you might think that I'm a shoelace but the best way to counter the vortex shild is to not shot much but still shoot then all but level 100000s will keep the vortex shild up then they run out of energy and you destroy them

It would be cool if Ion had some sort of ability that would give him energy (disregard the energy kit) like Monarch’s thing that takes enemy’s health and gives you shield or something like Tone’s sonar lock utility except when you hit someone, it constantly drains their health and gives you energy (good for standing your ground especially when destroying escape ship) and when it doesn’t hit someone it acts like a Tesla Coil and damages anything nearby and converts the damage dealt to energy. Ion could even have a kit that allows you to go over the maximum energy.

My thoughts on Ion are pretty big, just because it was my first titan main and I still use it to this day, for three years now. Even with the energy problem, I’ve still somehow still done amazing with her. Also nice video

I got to like G20 with Ion without even thinking about the energy mechanic, just made sure to hit my shots with the alternative fire and didn’t rely on Laser Shot. I think I used most of my energy on the Alt Fire and Vortex Shield. By doing this to the point that I perfected it I’d have incredible killstreaks and really good plays with Ion in general.

I like using the tripwire for a zoning tool. If your on bounty hunt, placing it near a flank rout or choke point (especially on complex) is super useful for protection your team from ambushes.

I would just remove the energy bar and make all abilities have normal cool downs so you can’t shoot 2 laser shots right after another

for me I think a good ion loadout is ion kit: zero energy when using trip wire titan kit: nuclear eject titanfall kit: dome shield the reason why i chose these is because when i play ion i always feel like if theres a ronin or scorch on me i cant get them off so i like theses 3 kits because most of them really help getting them off of you or punish them for doing it.
