Love the series Fooster! Someone has probably mentioned it already, but the cool details with the straps and chords you seen on some of the weapons are the real deal. Commonly in the military (at least in the US) we use 550 or parachord to tie down our optics to our weapons. Most of the time it's required actually. This is so that if an optic, or any attachments come lose and fall off, we won't lose them. Super cool detail they added and I'm glad you noticed!

The wire on the vector is likely a button for a flashlight/laser attachment. lots of them have a button on a wire that can be placed closer to the hand.

Gonna give you a cool tip Fooster, the sniper you got is a GM6-Lynx. It is 24.9lbs when empty and is a .50 BMG bullpup. An amazing design, but it seems too heavy for cqc as designed for. Oh and the barrel articulation is to reduce recoil

I LOVE Far Cry!! That was an amazing and cold adventure and I had so much fun! I think its cute and kinda love that you turn into a yeti, it seemed peaceful and an invitation more than we are taking you over. Like: "Come, live like us, walk with us, its nice here, we welcome you brother." Absoutly lovely!

The SA-50 is a .50 cal anti materiel rifle for destroying vehicles or explosives and just like on the Barret family, the whole barrel reciprocates to catch some of that shoulder popping recoil

That rifle you spent 30,000 credits firing at that bear is a .50 cal BMG bullpup rifle. The barrel moves back because that’s the semi-auto action at work, which is what a Barret uses because of just how powerful the round is, otherwise the recoil would knock you over backwards. I think DemolitionRanch did a video a year or two ago about the real bullpup .50 BMG rifle if you want to watch it, Fooster.

That sniper rifle you were using was a real firearm called the GM6 Lynx. It is a bullpen 50 BMG that uses a long recoil action. Which means the recoil of the firearm cycles the action which is why the barrel reciprocates like that. Another cool feature is that the barrel can lock back so it takes up less space and is deployed by a button near the front of the gun.

There’s a lot of heavy caliber guns that have retracting barrels. It’s part of the unlocking process of extracting spent round. It also reduces recoil.

You should play around with the explosive and fire arrows sometime, they come with the blackmarket trades skill or something like that. You can find them in at the trading post and on the wandering trader.

😂 I was the one who commented about the bow and gun situation. But only because I knew it would get hard when you said it in the first video. And when I saw the loadout in the second one - I immediately was like, I understand my man, I understand. 😁 Especially with those Yetis roaming around you NEED a SHTF-gun. 😁👍 But I'm still amazed about your bow skills - I totally suck at it in combat and only use them for hunting animals. The SA-50 is based on the real life GM6 Lynx. It's the only 50bmg (as far as I know) that has a retractable gun barrel. So that it's shorter for easier transport - but because of how the reload mechanism works and the moving barrel - it has a "kinda" low recoil for a 50cal. (comparably to others) Very interesting gun concept for the hungarian army. There are quite a few videos on youtube about it.

The wire runs to a switch, it could be a red dot or a torch, have them on my airsoft rifs so the torch or red dot is only on when your holding the switch down

iirc the sa-58 is a bullpup sniper rifle, and that's why the barrel slides back like that.
