The story of the game revolves around Nam, he is looking for a cheap house to rent for a day, a friend introduced him to this house and because the price is so cheap, he decided to rent that house even Even though he was opposed by his family and he didn't know it was the same place where something sinister took place in 2008.

"Something peeking" being enough to keep you from playing a game is honestly so relatable lmao. It's one of my weird fears, that I'll look up and see a figure where it's not supposed to be, even in my own home, standing in the next room or on the other side of the window, or peeking around a corner. It always gets me in video games...

The game in question regarding the 911 call is his first game 'Cold World'. There is a playthrough still up if you search KZfaq. I can confirm the 911 call is a real one, as it's been featured on a few documentaries. Hope this helps.😎👍

oh yeah I hate that As a child, I used to have all my stuffed animals on my bed. Well, I was sleeping with my mum and dad one night and while it was probably a dream it didn't feel like one. I woke up next to my mum in the middle of the night, and upon glancing down at the foot of the bed, ALL of my stuffed animals were lined up, staring at me with glowing red eyes. I tried to quietly shake my mum awake but she wouldn't wake up. I just pulled my blanket over my head and tried to go back to sleep. The next day I shoved every stuffed animal I owned into this clear plastic zip up bag and shoved them in my closet, never to be taken out again. Last month we were cleaning out said closet (I'm 24 now) and that bag is gone. I've mentioned the incident/dream to my mum, but said nothing about the missing bag. What I find ironic about it is that I have like 9 plush toys scattered in my room now for decoration and think they're cute and haven't had a repeat of that dream. But I do still think of it on occasion.

I first watched his From The Darkness playthrough from a random YT recommendation and ever since I was kinda hooked on his horror game streams. I especially like them because it's not a genre I typically enjoy playing, but some of these games look _so_ good. Nb4A in particular really nail lighting and atmosphere.

Theory, since absolutely no one asked at all: the sound like bones breaking stems from rigor mortis. Her body is stiff, and so moving about like she does causes her bones to crack audibly. I'm sure my theory is so far beyond any sort of realism. But I'm throwing it out there for funzies. Carry on!

Fooster, you asked what we would do in dark rooms and corridors. Well you see, I have a Nitecore Mh25-PRO flashlight, it can shine a beam 700m away, which is practically a half a mile distance. So from my perspective, since I have heavens light within a flashlight, to light up the darkness, I am not going to have an issue. This game is great, I always enjoy watching you get scared, and I appreciate you always.

This game started off so good and then turned into one of those repetitive type of horror games where they have you hiding from the same creature over and over, doing the same thing. There was a story and then it felt like just fell off and then by the end made zero sense. I personally wouldn’t wanna see number 2. But besides that, we still loved it because it was a Fooster video and we always enjoy your videos and commentary!

Hey Fooster... Discovered your channel by accident... Thank you for reminding me that there are more special games with wonderful stories out there othere than the most popular big games. Growing up with the evolution of games i seem to have forgotten the gaming roots and the way games can tell stories through discovery and experimentation. Myst comes to mind. The industry has muddied the true artists and wonderdul story tellers and i hope the stories and experiences of smaller studios get more action and attention. Thanks for all your effort.

Funny, the ghost sounds like my wife when she's angry. Out of seriousness though, the only advice I could give is the developers need to add different screams hearing the same one and the same bones creaking/liquid nose repeatedly is enough to make someone stop playing but other than that they did an amazing job. It's just the small things.

I just got my son Gerome interested in survival pc games and a random KZfaq search turned up you and Fisk, y’all have inspired him so much to get the confidence to play more and try more 😊 I let him pick any game as his first survival game and thanks to ur Sunkenland series, that’s the game he chose (lol could’ve saved myself a lot of time browsing games on Steam with him lol) 😊 keep up the good work brother, to some it may just be playing games but to my son, it truly matters ❤️

I had a dream last night that you and Fisk gave DayZ another look, you two were trekking it around Cherno, fighting off hordes and bandits and bears and getting into all kinds of shenanigans it was ABSOLUTELY mental. I'm sitting here praying my dreams may come true someday. The games come sooooooo far and is in a really good place at the moment. There are some really interesting/intense hardcore pve servers out there these dayz I could really see you and the community enjoying... I dunno. Thought this was going to be a really basic, on rails Asian horror house that may have had a two story house and maybe five rooms max, but this turned out to be a really cleverly made game with a villain who was more terrifying to hear over actually being seen. The whole sound of the ghoul walking on splintered / splintering bones with the really bassy "something" like hundreds of crawling insects really carried the atmosphere. Going to have to look into Vietnamese folk law and see if the ghoul is a real part of their folk law or whether it's some sort of amalgamation of different Asian stories of things that go bump in the night!
