Hi stephen , yeah first time ever fish n chips without the run , that was the gales to blame !… it really was blowing and it’s a bit of a pain setting up the cameras outside and getting them all correct , kirsty was getting impatient and we were starving so i ditched the plan , dropped the cameras and just went , no fun at all biking in that weather 😂 but yes that’s camping ! Loved looking at that as a kid unless i’m totally wrong but i’m sure i remember a work colleague telling me about it later on in life too , yes shame about our coastline disappearing , all up the east coast pretty much Enjoy the poppy line , we would love the dining experience on there one day bet it ain’t cheap 😬

Hi roger thanks , we bought an avtex tv with soundbar and just have the standard tv aerial on top , plus we always take our amazon firestick with us and stream from that if we have poor tv signal ( as long as your phone service provider has a decent enough signal for your hotspot ) thanks for watching the video and good luck in your new van 👍

Hi Andrew , before i went to coachbuilts i’d had a couple of van conversions years ago and missed being able to park anywhere , e.g leaving site and going to a supermarket , being able to park in any parking space and on the street without worrying about the width , the manoeuvrability of a van conversion, easier maintenance inc washing it ! , not worrying about narrow lanes as most CS & CL’s are in the middle of nowhere , also being 3500kg as the last coachbuilt was 4250kg so had to drive a fair bit away for its MOT , i can name many reasons , but space and storage is the downside , we’ve learnt to just carry less now and try to abide by the one up one down rule , i do miss the interior space of a coachbuilt but the benefits (for me) outweigh the negatives , Hope that helps All the best Mike

Hi Mike Much appreciate you taking the time out to reply. That’s a massive help. As I’m thinking of doing the same. For all the reasons you said. Makes more sense. I have a bessacarr 494. And does cause problems when parking. Nice to know to get some feedback from someone like yourself that has done this. Cheers again Mike.
