it’s FISH ‘N CHIPS time ! / New park farm camping

2 жыл бұрынIt’s about time i did another fish ‘n chips run , so …, back by popular demand , i decided to get back on the bike and head off for that traditional british meal , and how lovely it was indeed ! 😀
We stayed at new park farm CS site in west row , west suffolk , a beautiful and quiet little site not far from RAF Mildenhall , the site had about 14 pitches , all grass , and the facilities were nice and clean , plenty of walks from the site , one of which leads down to the river lark
Wifi & phone signal were very good
We paid £40 for 2 nights with 2 dogs with EHU and will definitely be returning

A nice quiet site not far from home is great. We rarely travel long distances in our motorhome, and frequently take 3-4 night trips. Like you, we have our reasons for this and at the moment it suits us very well. It's a bonus if there's a chippy close by!

we were surprised when we got there that we had the feeling of being anywhere in the uk which was a bonus , especially the chippy being only a mile away 👍😀 cheers rob

Good to see you got your fish and chips. We are off out in the Van today, and fish and chips in the van is on the list😀. The camera i think that is mounted on your chest, is very effective and shows what a useful thing the basket is on the front of your bike, and that is a nice little site that i might have to visit. Nice video. Like the doggy beds. When I took a bike with the motorhome, I never liked riding on my own, so never went out on it! Huge gherkin!

We moored NB Billy on the River Lark right next to the metal gate you went through on your walk. Such a quiet site, listened to the Little Owls and Tawny Owls hooting at dusk and dawn. Stunning.

Just another great vlog. I'd suggest staying away from the river though Mike 😬. The site looks great. We are at Sandringham CCC this weekend, fish and chips in Hunstanton tomorrow 👍

As a recent new Subscriber from your Huntingdon Boathaven video we went to Huntingdon BoatHaven from your video review on our 1st outing in our Campervan since October 2019 thanx to the Chinese and Covid. It took me a while to convince my wife its safe to go to a campsite again and because of your vid we broke the ice two weeks ago so thank you both! This site looks great as well. We live near Skegness so Norfolk and Suffolk not too far for us. We did visit Breckland Meadows in Swaffham another one of your campsites about 3 years ago. Love your style and the Fish and Chips run you must do every time please. Condolences on losing your dog recently atb Guys Mike and Elaine SkegVegas

Great to see you back out and about, you don’t need to go far from home t get away ( even if Kirsty is the only one who knows where you’re going) 😂really enjoyed the E T bike run for fish n chips ( been missing that ! ) even if they took the mick in the chippy ( old ladies basket) ha ha . Definitely the best pitch number 😉 Simon used to work around this area years ago, at a place called Heath Ford Body Repair centre, he was the paint sprayer, he left there to work in a car garage back in Thetford. There are some lovely places to stay around here, we're also lucky to have all these forests and woodlands on our doorstep! you don't need to travel very far 🌲🌳 Take care, Christine

An interesting find! Looks a nice site. We really enjoyed the F&C’s from Pete’s plaice! His card machine wasn’t working when I went there one Sunday he gave me the food anyway and said I could pay him when he opened again the following Thursday. How good is that? 👍 great video 👍

Thanks for the video. I’m trying to find a replacement for my failed mirror/monitor on my Sundance 580PR. I see you have a monitor connected to your rear camera. Can you switch between the cameras and do you know what make it is?

the mirror / camera came standard with the bolero , so i don’t know what make it is unfortunately, it has permanent feed when driving and switches to reverse camera when put in reverse , the reverse mode has recently quit on me so need to get my habitation service guy to fix it as i’m no electrician, it can only be something simple , i hope ! so i’m in the same boat as you

hi it’s just that i have a demanding and highly responsible job where i work 12 days on and 2 off and need to “be about” , so like on call so to speak , all of our videos are filmed over the weekend i get off , also we make the most of that by staying local enabling us to leave on a fri night rather than a sat morn from work and still arrive when it’s late & light , hope that makes sense , thanks for watching the videos mike

Miles away or on the doorstep, can’t beat being away, we ventured to Wales after the Lincoln show , just got back (football at Mildenhall tomorrow 🤨) & the dust is no higher than when we left 🤪🤣😂 love watching your videos
