I have spent my first 40 years not being authentic, trying to hide my autism and adhd. I diluted all the things that make me great but in order to please a 1/3 of people who might not connect with the real me. Now, pivoting into a design career midlife (although I swear to god my brain thinks it’s 30) I have made a commitment to spend more energy on growth and less on masking. Thank you for laying down the foundation for discovering who is truly there and finding a balance in the duality.

Hey! You NON Designer watching this! I see you, I see you. I am not a designer, probably never will . I am a Chief of Staff to the CTO in a tech department and still Chris keeps inspiring and teaching me after years. This the most comprehensive presentation on personal branding I have been ever able to find. Chris has this gift of taking all the BS out of concepts and processes and making them relatable, easy to understand and highly actionable. Thank you Chris Do!

Dear Futur Team… I did it. I did this exercise as honestly as I could, and it was beautiful. I thought Chris was tripping when he said people usually get to tears, but 2 hours later, discussing everything I wrote, and getting genuine feedback from my closest friend, I was forcing tears back, and evening my voice out so the shaky breath wasn't audible. Laugh - out - loud . . . I feel equipped. I'm glad I put in the work. Can't wait to see what I'll do next. Thank you.

Thank you KZfaq for starting to recommend Chris Do/The Futur content again. Watched chris religiously for 6+ years (back in the Jose days, he even did a website desing critique for me back in the Skool days). I took my learnings from that era and went deep into my own journey, moving more away from the branding/design space. But here I'm back as a content creator/KZfaqr, and building our site up, and here Chris and The Futur is again at the time in my career that I'm ready for it again! Chris, you are one of my mentors from afar. The same way that Jose got you infront of the camera as an introvert, you helped me do that as a fellow introvert. Seeing the evolution you went through to be now who you are completely owning the stage in one of the most engaging presentstions I've ever seen, gave me permission to also create, talk, and become that extroverted introvert. Going to go binge more content on your channel to catch up, it has been too long

This was Alex (me) by the way, not Andra. That said, Andra and I connected early on with your content, one of your talks on Ikigai, we did all of the workbooks together. So Chris Do was a mutual mentor for both of us literally the first 2-3 weeks of our relationship (we're now married).

It is really amazing to how much complex it can be and how much easier it could be if you discover yourself; on my path to Self Discovery to build my personal brand. Thank you very much for the video. 👏

This is the best video. 1. I learned some useful/helpful information. 2. It was calm, which is a more conducive environment for learning. I wasn't riled up and stressed out by background noise and hype forcing me to work harder to pay attention, but then I get so ill I give up and get out.

Chris Do is fast becoming my favourite guy to be inspired by. It's almost like he's me in Asian skin! Check this: We started our careers almost in the same way, we have the same design skills and type of creativity, the same desire to lead people creatively, seemingly wanting to influence society in exactly the same way, and... get this... we were born in the same year! It's surreal. I have followed Chris and TheFutur for a few years, but it just hit me now that he is moving in the same direction as me, just many miles ahead.

High-value video bro. Dr.Squatch might be referencing the old school slang “dish” meaning someone’s hot/attractive but from what I’ve seen was used more frequently referring to women than men. Prior to Dr. Squatch I haven’t seen the term dish since Donatello said it in a Ninja Turtles cartoon in the 90’s (“look at that tremendous dish!” and a girl thanked him because she thought he was talking about her. He was actually referring to a huge satellite dish behind her.

I really loved this... There was so much truth in your message and it openned up my mind alot. Thanks very much. Here's my question, the ideas you brought up seems to give mostly with those who have already establish themselve financially to certain level, and wish to grow their personal brand, and even for those that have enough experience in their domain. But am abit confused on how to apply it in my case. I am a Graphic designer with less than 3 years experience (started late). I have learned everything i could in order to survive here home, but in truth, i don't know how i can go further with either only one domain or area of expertise. Also can you help me with other related videos i can use to grow? My head got mixed even trying to think about how to develop a 2 word brandm but since am still starting in this milieu, i don't know what step to take next. Can you help me with some advice please?
