I have always had Bosch and always been very happy with everything about them, although I can’t be arsed to use the Wifi enabled bit. I find the number of place settings is completely useless, throw in a few large bowls and you can forget the number of place settings. I would buy Bosch every time.

My Ariston dishwasher is 26 years old and has always washed very well, without ever breaking down, which is what interests me in a dishwasher. I had to buy another one because water started falling underneath (it finally broke lol). I was undecided between Bosh and Indesit, mainly because of the price, Indesit with the same features I was looking for (automatic open door - to dry faster and better, high temperature to sanityse, fast program and aqua stop) as Bosh costing 100 euros less, it is in fact of remaining undecided. Whenever I make a purchase I always have my mother's advice echoing in my head: you get what you pay for. But what I don't like about today's household appliances is the technology, because it tends to break down more quickly, which led me to choose Indesit, which has less technology. I just placed the order, hoping not to regret it ;) PS: One thing I don't understand is one can put dishes with food residues inside the machine, it doesn't hurt to take a napkin and remove the residues, it goes almost clean into the machine. Maybe that's why my machine lasted 26 years :P

Same. The Indesit dishwasher that is fitted in the kitchen of my flat is a really good performer. It even out performs my nan's Miele dishwasher which is quite impressive because it's so much cheaper. And it's already over 10 years old and still goes strong

Stop using the modern pods (3 in 1) tablets. Use old fashioned powder - you’ll get a much better wash.

You forgot reliability. Have owned Bosch dishwashers and washing machines for 35 years without a problem with any of them. Gave them away after 24 years each, without a penny spent on repairs. Many surveys confirm my experience. They are built to last. My latest appliances are ten years old and again not a moment's problem. Previous experiences with Philips, Hotpoint and Creda tell a very different story. Indesit is likely to be the same.

What is good about the German white goods brands is that in addition to their excellent engineering and reliability you can order spare parts you might need in the future directly from their website. With the other brand featured you will have problems - they just want to send an expensive engineer or sell you a new product, they don't want the public having access to spare parts. I have stopped buying these brands as they are effectively disposable products, because when they go wrong it is not viable to repair them.

Are you sure it is like that for Indesit, an Italian brand?

At this point you should change the name of this channel, nothing like The Gadget Show at all.
