If there is any machanic i want to see, it would be form changes, the ultima weapon (kh4) and some possible costume changes, for instance, sora can buy clothes and they can be equiped, like FF15

Ok, honestly, the live-action Alice movies would make for a pretty interesting world in KH. I know many don't like the films, but I think the aesthetic of them is really cool and would bring something that feels familiar yet different, which could lead to some interesting scenarios like Sora going "Alice?" and Alice being like "Who are you? How do you know my name?"

That's what I want. I'm ready for this series to grow up along with us.

On the subject of inter-world travel: What if Quadratum has buildings or some kind of access point (Maybe the room shown in the trailer in which Sora wakes up)which acts as a gateway to each world through a laptop or internet hotspot. The player then selects a world to travel to through it. Think of it like a kind of Disney+ format that Sora accesses and can choose a world from, before being pulled into it with each new area of Quadratum being unlocked also granting a new Disney+ hotspot that offers new worlds? Just a thought.

im still hype for it i like all the games that i played the only games i havent played were re coded and i played a little of 358/2 days but didnt beat it.(i barrowed it and never finished it) But the games i have played so far i loved and love the series and cant wait to see what this one brings to the table. cant wait for this game to come out hopefully it comes out next year or in the next 2 to 3 years.

I would like the Gummiship system to be like No Man’s Sky, Sora taking off and traveling into orbit going through the clouds, then once you’re in actual space, it cuts to a more polished version of the KH3 Gummiship system.

I'm still personally in denial about Star Wars being included because I don't feel lore wise it can mesh well. However I think we may get adventures either Donald and Goofy or Kairi/Aqua in the realm we are used to providing us more of the traditional Disney worlds alongside what we are getting with Sora and probably Riku (based of KH3/MoM) also being in Quadratom

If you think on it, KH has dove into metaphysics you’d see in Persona. Within Persona, reality is shaped by human cognition. The material world and the “otherside” (Sea of Soul or humanities collective subconscious) is shaped by popular belief. The persona take on mythical form because the gods and demons are born of human cognition through religion or superstition. Some even represent aspects of reality such as Nyx, the god of humanities inevitable death KH has taken a lite approach so far. The “Realm of Light” which houses the living world in a form of many broken stars that act as their own pocket reality/world. It is the material world despite the vast oddities within. In its shadow is the Dark Realm, a singularity where time loses meaning and hearts consumed by the darkness find themselves. (whether they be world or man) And the space between them acts as a buffer. Worlds found here usually operate on different rules since theyre wedged between two planes. Then we were introduced to the Realm of Sleep. Despite what people think, this world isnt founded solely by worlds lost in KH1. Anything with a heart, anything self aware enough to dream, plays a part in this planes existence. It is born of dreams and dreams are born during sleep as your conscious self gives way to the subconsious self. As a result, dreams can be misleading, lie, or reveal what the conscious mind ignores. We then learned in Kh3 that beyond this is true death. The Final World, your final destination. No matter what world your from, what being you are, at some point you will find yourself here. And now we know Kh4 that beyond its endless expanse is Unreality which is shockingly a real world terminology/theory. Unreality is where ideas born of the conscious mind reside. Any story you’ve read, any day dream you’ve had, it’s possible that it takes form there. Sora broke the living worlds rules to such an extent that Reality shunned him to Unreality. He’s become an ideal, a memory, a lost consciousness. In this regard you can see the “living world” divided into a Light Realm, a Dark, and the Between. But you can also see the realms of Sleep, Dream, and Death a trifecta of the metaphysical. One represents conscious thoughts, another subconscious, and the last is their between. Death is where they border, the Final World (the literal sky) divides them as well as separating them from the material world. In other words, seeing Twewy in ddd or seeing Shibuya in KH4, anything goes and can be passed off as “not real” because they exist as ideals.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is speculation on what the Star Wars world would be called. I’m personally banking on “Faraway Galaxy”

Here’s something that might be very different: new permanent party members for Sora. Since Donald and Goofy will likely try and fail to get to Sora, Sora will need new friends to join him on his quest to get home. As Donald always says: “three half-pints make a whole.” As for who it might be, it could be one of three options: Magia and Aegis-Yozora’s companions; any combination of characters from Union X; and, the one I want-(and makes sense because of its newfound connection to KH and keeps its Disney spirit alive while forcing Sora to mature) Pixar characters.

What i'm crossing my fingers for is less disney and more Final Fantasy. Maybe just like it used to be back in KH1 where FF characters played a bigger part in the overall story. But i guess in this side of the game's lore it will be more live action/realistic disney franchises on top of the Final Fantasy worlds and what not.

I think they're going for a more open world super hero approach to gameplay. Kinda like Spider-Man games but with Sora as the hero lol. And i'm down for it tbh but it will be interesting. Yea i think Nomura was just feeling like making a game like that specifically and he made it work with the story i guess.

My "pipe dream", if you will, with this game is that we end up going to worlds based off of FF games INSTEAD of Disney worlds. Like, Midgar could be the world for FF7. I've played a few other FFs (never actually finished one), and while the names don't ring a bell, locations from X and XIII could be used as well. Anybody more well-versed in FF games could iterate better on the examples, but I hope that's the biggest change. Goofy and Donald could (hopefully) still show up, like they did in KH1, where we start off with just Sora and then meet up with our Half-Pints once the story is set in motion. Just my personal thoughts

Hope they bring back cool galactic bosses for the gummi section. Schwargeist in Kh3 was good, but encountering that Red Hunter X back in Kh2 was the coolest gummi boss fight up to this day imo. Even tho we could have the legendary square donut cheese it’s still enjoyable to playthrough

I feel like the game could be similar to the way FFXV kinda was in terms of aesthetics like you talked about. Sleeping being the new save point, similar menus and magic setup, etc. As someone who loved FFXV I think it'd be cool to see a KH spin on a more real world vibe like in that game.

After watching your video again... I got thinking about how Sora was on the ground in the secret ending of KH3 and it really got me thinking about the free fall mechanic. What if now when you free fall it uses the haptic feedback to express a sort of recoil when he lands. I believe now most games will be looking for creative ways to utilize the haptic feedback. I've only experienced it on a game or two but it's definitely a really cool feature at least to the controller. I love the creative freedom behind a franchise like Kingdom Hearts. I'm on the edge of my seat still ^-^

I still will expect Dearly Beloved for KH4 there is noway they will change it I think you know we mayby can get a summon like Spider-Man I would love DF summons but Disney summons feels more better for Kingdom Hearts

As for the menu theme that plays dearly beloved, if it did have to change i think it’d be cool if the theme was a new rendition of what plays when you beat Yozora, and vice versa for if there is a part of the game where you also play as Yozora the title screen changes to fit him where the song when Sora loses plays

I'm hoping that Square uses Unreality to take advantage of Live-Action Disney Properties (star wars, marvel, ect,) or finally give them an excuse to focus more on Sqaure Properties. After Disney's intense oversight on KH3, it'd be a breath of fresh air to get more original stories without Disney's iron first using Sqaure properties.

For some reason I thought Sora went from a place where he could visit disney movies to a place where he could visit square video games (I guess yazora being a videogame character in KH3 is what makes me think that) and the trailer showed him in the FFXV world. Or, something of that ilk.

I can see Mary Poppins, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, The MCU, 101 Dalmations (Idk Somehow since we don't see them again after KH1 as far as I remember), Treasure Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and a smattering of others. They have to throw in an old classic in there if they're gonna be doing mostly live action movies

I heard they switched the gameplay team for (b team, who made the side games so I heard) kh3 compared to kh2 (a team , hence why people compare their gameplay so well.

I’d like to see an open world style Quadratum (Shibuya). Similar to San Fransokyo in KH3, just on a larger scale. I’m fine with the Disney worlds remaining relatively linear as they have been, but I think it would be really cool to have an open area to explore, especially with Sora’s traversal mechanics. I’m thinking along the lines of Spider-Man PS4, with the unhindered exploration and travel. It would be a really cool area to find hidden items, unique shops, side quests, and to potentially grind. I can also see them doing it to subtley show off the graphics/design/rendering at the start of the game, like Olympus and twilight town in kh3 (because let’s be honest, that’s exactly what they were doing there). Idk, I just get lost for hours exploring detailed, beautiful open spaces like that in games.

For the new dearly beloved, it would be cool if it was a remix between an original dearly beloved but with a prelude of Final Fantasy. Keep the dearly beloved but with a FF prelude snuck in there. That would be very cool. Edit: an original prelude, not borrowing one from a title

I agree. Its definitely be way more different than past KH games. More Finally Fantasy esq. Now whether gil will be the money system in the game that is another story. It depends on what "unreality" really is. Is it our reality? Is it a real final fantasy universe? Or something in between. The possibilities are numerous. It all depends on Papa Nomura's grand vision. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Grapple Chain is going to be cooler than Flowmotion, potions will be blue just like in Final Fantasy, outer space will play a lot like Star Wars, Dearly Beloved is going to include that Yozora/Quadratum/re:Mind Secret Episode Ending Song/FFvsXIII/FFXV melodies into part of the new Dearly Beloved theme, you can parkour off walls to gain height AND can even use walls to provide a push kick dealing an insane Keyblade slash. Soooooo much to look forward to!

Hopefully they do something about the Hp points, it was always a problem, the way they did the mp bar in kh3 when u use cure the whole bar turns hot pink then u have to wait for it to turn back blue, annoying.

I don't think they'll retire Dearly Beloved just yet, since in Dream Drop Distance it's said to represent the bond Sora and Riku share. Since Riku is once again going to try to save Sora and bring him back home, it'd make sense just to use it again. I don't think they'll remove it from the main menu, but if they did, they should probably use it when they reunite at least.

I know this is a very large stretch but still since we saw 104 in KH3 for quadratum then we might see the neo twewy gang and who knows we might fight noise in quadratum. I think that as for worlds we could possibly see something like a Final Fantasy world like midgar or something I think that would be very interesting and I know this is just a hope but if they do add in a Final Fantasy VII world maybe we get Sephiroth as a secret boss fight in that world and get a possible true conclusion to the story of Cloud and Sephiroth from KH2.....this is just a hope but I think with this new unreality world this could possibly work and if they do the live action Disney properties they could make it where Sora knows the characters but they have no idea who he is and he then realizes that "hey this Alice isn't the same Alice I met" it's kinda a interesting idea and I'd love to see that in this game
