"The way you're pushing, it's called 'mongo'. You're pushing with your front foot so it takes longer to bring it back onto the board. Try learning to push with the back foot, and you'll be able to do tricks sooner after pushing. It may not seem like much but that second advantage could save your life in the bowl."

skating is fun once you learn the basic tricks like ollie and shovit youll get to learn more advanced tricks like tre flip varial flip inward flip and stuff like that i couldnt live without skating its a lot of fun

I'm so glad I didn't buy into the hype surrounding MGS 2 Sons of Liberty and instead waited patiently for a re-release, which was MGS 2 Substance, which was a better game because of extra content like this. I sure do wish they did the same thing with MGS4. It would have been nice to play as Raiden with a gameplay mechanic which would later, with the help of Platinum games become the gameplay of MGR.
