My dad died in 2005 and I was left homeless and broke fast forward to 2020 I own a 4 bed detached house and drive a brand new mercedes. This song came on radio other day it brought back memories. Really feel like the underdog is on top. To anyone out there who is in a bad place right now don't give up work hard and anything is possible.

Back when rappers were from the streets and had real life stories to spit, instead of manufactured social media personalities who use auto tune and just shout and swear. This is, in my opinion, a track that signalled the beginning of the end of the greatest era in rap and hip hop history, and will forever be a classic with these two heavyweights.

While this is largely true, you still have many mainstream artists who do. Polo G, Morray, Rod Wave, Early Roddy Ricch, Juice Wrld (who really made street pop punk music over trap beats, but hey), etc.

One of the best songs ever recorded. Even my late Dad, who was into Bowie, the Stones, the Beatles said to me as a 12 year old - the Game and 50 nailed the lyrics. At the time I thought he was just trying to bond with his son, but now I realise he was right. 🙏
