"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. To put to rout all that was not life; and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived."
I have been meaning to upload this video for awhile.
All of you who are trying to figure out, we are all trying.

I have decided to pursue filmmaking, support my studies and aspirations through the link: gofund.me/8a222bb9 I have to bring you an important update. In pursuing a career in filmmaking, I have sent my applications to various universities and have been admitted to most of them. After careful consideration, I have chosen to study at SDSU starting in September, a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production. I update you on my journey openheartedly, precisely the same way I would speak to my dear friend. It is because you have been with me for years that I can share my successes and failures with commensurate elation or sorrow. However, I have come to some financial difficulties during my arduous mission. It is no news that I come from an unprivileged family, and from a country that has an average family income of $400 per month, but despite all that I have managed to save up about $20k to cover my studies. Yet, I have crashed into a wall too thick and tall to overcome. I find that I would need another at least $20k amount of money to cover most of my university expenses during my first year there. I tell you this now because I have exhausted the other means to acquire the funding. Thus, I must say if you think that I am worthy of a single penny from your pocket, then I implore you to aid me to pursue my dream. I am collecting any amount that you can spare: www.paypal.me/thegarostudios If you require a letter for proof of admission, email me at studiosgaro@gmail.com

ØrPhÄn MüRpHy I understand, to an extent, I feel the same. Your life is yours, like I said, it’s a gift you didn’t ask for. Since 2019 I come back to this video regularly... And it inspires me deeply. Most people see me as boring, nerdy and generally not interesting at all, but deep down I want to do something crazy... Something that teaches me about myself and life itself. So I made a plan. I will walk along the northern Atlantic coast of Spain this summer. Just me, the ocean, my backpack and freedom. ... I'm already so excited to learn, to discover and to live. Over 800km and I will live each meter.

Probably nobody will ever see this but I wrote this one day at like 3am and thought that was appropriate, excuse my bad English: I wanna explore, I wanna see the world, I wanna travel and discover new things everyday . I want my life to be an adventure. I don’t want to regret anything when I will turn 40 . I want to feel alive ! To feel the sun on my skin, the air in my lungs. To smell all that is to smell, to see all that is to see, to fall asleep to the sound of the birds singing To swim in a pool of stars, to start to run and fly. To go far and never look back. I want to feel every fiber of my being vibrating. I don’t want to stop moving forward. I want to find love, to make love, to feel love. To be a heart that beat at unisson, where my soul will feel complete, feeling completely and utterly happy. My greatest fear is that someday, I will wake up in my 30s wondering what have I done with my life, that it would feel as if time was faster than me. Always outrun in the grand race of life. I want to feel free like a bird, I want to do good around me, I want to help everyone I come across The thing is nobody is free we all got strings, I will have to fight and cut these strings myself Also we cannot help everyone in the world but I guess small things are still something

I come back to this video everyday. Whether it's at night or during the day, I always make it a point to watch this video at least once everyday. It's been month of me doing this religiously and almost always it manages to magnify the emotions I'm feeling when I watch it. When I'm down and meloncholic, this video teaches me to embrace my sadness and observe it as a moment of beauty. How grateful I am to experience such a feeling. A feeling so powerful and so overwhelming that it takes over my body and brings towards me a poignant understanding of life. Sadness is important and a great friend to me when I need to reflect on myself and obrseve my every being on an untainted mirror. And these moments are just as important to me as times of joy. When I watch this video as I smile, I think about how happy I am. I thinnk about how positive the space in and around me is. I feel like I could do anything. I feel free as a bird and unstoppable to the forces of life that come my way. An emotion so exhilarating that I have to remind myself not to fly too high. I feel refreshed and uprooted from thoughts that hold me down. Life could never be sweeter. And I owe it all to this video that gives me the opportunity to sit and reflect on my emotions. An excercise that has turned into a daily routine which has brought me a deeper understanding of my mind and my body. I thank god for giving me this life. If you read up till here, thank you! Thank you for existing and I hope you are showered with happiness, good fortune and success. If there's anything I wish for you to take away from this, I hope you too can sit and observe this moment in time. Carve out a portion of each day to observe mindfulness and you shall see benefits unlike anything you've imagined. Cheers!

I understand I'm 21 and facing similar hurdles . It's hard yes and disheartening at times . But ... I learned no matter what changes I still remain . See Be proud of yourself and you will be proud of your life . For your life is who you are . Where ever you go whatever storms may come . You will always carry yourself with you . People often try to escape life but in truth they seek to escape themselves . No matter where you go to in this world . That place will be what you are . If you are sad and angry it will be so to . If you are honest and grateful it will so as well . Do not put all your attention of fixing the outside . Fix what is inside and you fix the world . Too often we don't see ourselves for our true worth . We are all of us worth this entire world . And each of us are worthy of love kindness and forgiveness. Yet so few us offer ourselves that courtesy. Be honest and true to yourself first and others second. Love yourself first and others second . Because it is better to be your truest self and give sincerely of yourself. Than to be bitter and claim love and respect for people. A tiny amount of sincerity makes the biggest difference. A sincere smile is worth far more than a boastful loud laugh . It's worth more . So to are you . When you are sincere . Love yourself sincerely. Find yourself by being true to your heart and what moves you . And trust yourself wholeheartedly. Because at moment death could come . And if it does you will not be thinking "am I proud of the life I've had . My job and career my bank account and car " When death comes you will think of you and what you have become . "Am I proud of who I am ?" For life is not the accumulation of titles and materials . Life is the refinement and cultivation of yourself/heart/you. "Live each day intentionally/deliberately " is something very meaningful to say. To know is not the same as to think . To think is not the same as to understand. To understand is not the same as to believe. To believe is to accept as truth . We must strive to fully accept ourselves . Only than can we believe not just in ourselves but our ideals and dreams . To fully accept ourselves before seeking to conquer the world . Only if one believes in something can one act purposefully. To live life intentionally is the same as saying to live life purposefully. On purpose . To do what you are doing because it is what you want to do and for no ulterior / other motive ... When that happens we have so much space for so much more . Because there is so much in this world . Beauty and righteous things to yearn for . We need only have the humility to acknowledge these things . And then the courage to accept it . I hope that love and insight are always with you . Take care of yourself my fellow human, because I do care for you . You are more than your face more than your body more than your items more than your clothes more than your name ... you are a soul. A human being living and breathing and at any moment you have the free will to change your life in any way you choose . I hope you choose the good . More so at any moment you could choose to do something seemingly "random" that changes the world of another . A stranger next to you . A cashier .. a human being . You can change the world . You can change a person's world in an instant most of the time you do .. unaware to you and only known to the person for they feel the impact of your actions . You do have the power . And you are worth the pain this world expends on us . I love you As you should love yourself . As we should love each other . For love is innate to mankind. Love is innate to every human being. Become better so you may give better to the world . I'm sorry for the rant .

Robin Williams is an actor not of this universe; he could level your heart with one singular inflection, wipe away the tears with a smile and make us consider life with a monologue. He lived and suffered greatly with his own demons. But he existed and was here and did not die having *not* lived. Our love of him is proof of that.

My greatest fear is that I will lose the race against time, that my older self will be full of regrets having not wholly lived this unique gift. l truly want to look right into life’s eyes, fully embrace it, feel the energy around me, the earth, the wind, the motion of every living beings. I want to share love and be loved, find my soulmate and be surrounded by friends and family, as happiness is true only when shared. I want to see everything that there is to see, explore the world, live unforgettable adventures and meet incredible people. I want to be meaningful in this life, be part of the joy that can be given, help everyone in their trouble. I want to live, that’s all. Life’s hourglass cannot be flipped, past is history but each bit of it cannot be forgotten: every single brick was necessary to build the person we are today. Happiness naturally comes with pain, because you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain. I wish everyone reading this will find their way to happiness: please don’t give up, life is too beautiful to be wasted.

To everyone in quarantine: live people live. You can’t keep putting excuses you must live. Use this time to find out your passion, read a book maybe two, travel to a different dimension all the while sitting in your bed. Write a story, clear all those raging thoughts from your mind and turn it into something beautiful. Paint a blank canvas with your hurt and pain. The thing about life is that it’s waiting for you to seize it. It’s right there, in the form of your passion. And you don’t always have to travel the world to see it. Make the most of what you can now, and stop waiting for the perfect moment. Because really there is no perfect moment. You must create it.

I just don’t know how to put what I’m feeling into words but I think we all need to live in the present, I know it sounds cliché but I believe many people missunderstand this, most of the time we are thinking about past scenes that hurt us or worrying about the future, I realized that all the times I had dinner with my family I didn’t pay attention at all of what they were saying, I couldn’t think one single thing they said because I was thinking about college and other things. I have a window next to my shower and there you can see a big tree, it has been there all my life but it was a month ago that I realized it was there, I cried (I usually don’t cry), it’s just so beautiful, the green color, wind refreshing your face and I heard the birds, since then there hasn’t been one day that I don’t notice this tree, I’m happier, I could spend hours there, It’s just curious how simple things makes us happier than other elaborated things. Don’t ever lose hope, you can do whatever you want in this life and I’m not saying this because I want to be motivational or something, your thoughts create your reality, you can feel frustrated, sad, angry, it’s okay, just don’t lose hope

But, better to keep trying to find and taste things you might like (or not), than to stay stuck inside your own world without even trying. Maybe that thing we are all looking for is basically comfort, love, or maybe just something that can push us to keep going even during those hard times. And not always, but really often, you can even have already found this things and don’t even know! You are right: life does really sucks. But, at the end of the day, it’s all we have...better to enjoy it the best we can and yeah, to keep searching even without a single clue, than to keep your heart locked complaining about it.

You are the best inspirational youtuber i have ever seen..... your videos and the words used in them, they are very soothing and heartening, they give me a different perspective towards life, they make me realize the " most important" things in life, they inspire me to do better and be better and MOST IMPORTANTLY they give me the best feeling in the world.....(i don't know what that feeling is exactly, maybe a little bit of free, happy or calm, but i am sure it's the "best".) Thanks a lot for being who you are; (an inspiration). Please don't stop creating videos like this.

That shite is always in videos like this. It's a bit of a shame too because I personally think it detracts from the video, though I never particularly enjoy videos like this anyways. Any video that has the recommendations "motivation video" on the side leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It always feels so contrived, so intentionally trying to pull at heart strings with it's empowering music contrasted with solemn visuals. They're a dime-a-dozen, following the same cliches, reaching out to people who for some fuckin' reason need reminding that life has no other purpose than the one you assign to it. People here are either wallowing in their righteous pity party or "finding the spark within themselves to take action with their life and finally change!" As if randomly coming across this one solitary video is going to change how their mind functions; moreover, as if change in humans isn't something that needs to be developed one decision *at a time, over time, slowly,* and with constant _conscious_ reinforcing. The only "spark" I see in these people are ones that start the dumpster fire of enthusiasm where they try desperately to form some semblance of structure or control to their wretched, devolved lifestyle. This burns hot and then dies quickly once they've spent all their fuel, realizing the issues are so fundamental that the years of neglect has caused the rubbish to avalanche and smother the flames. It's delightfully disgusting and I laugh all the while reading stories of "I love this person... I'll never trust again... I visited the beach today, it was soul rendering... [blah blah blah]," as if their feelings actually meant a damn!

The kind of support i got from this video while i was alone during the lockdown of 2020 can't be described. I was alone as my family was stuck at my hometown and i was alone in Delhi. Its tough when it's scary outside. People were dying. Nothing was certain. I survived . I use to plug in my headphones while playing this and use to workout on my terrace pushing myself to be positive and taking control of my thoughts and emotions. I never lost control of it. Iam happy with that.

When I was a kid there was this huge meadow in the woods behind my house that was full of these tall, yellow grasses so tall that when you laid down you'd be invisible. You could see the Appalachian mountains in the distance and there was this craggy dead tree with a bird's nest on top. I always remember that place in October when the leaves were really brilliant and the sky was this deep, untouched blue. I think about this place all the time and sometimes there will be a scene in a movie or a moment in real time that inexplicably takes me back to that wonderful, hallowed, timeless place that I discovered. Your videos do that for me. I feel like we've almost been to the same place. Thank you so much.

I watched this video 5 years ago when i was just a young adult unaware of the world, fresh in a new country. And I remember feeling this video so deeply it hurt but at the same time gave me hope. And today, it reminds me of the beautiful moments i experienced in that country. The foggy glass of the bus, and the water trickling down. I can feel the seat i was sitting on. I can see the dark outside the window. And the world felt so big then, as if I could do and get anything. Make anything of myself. I don’t know how and when that world became so small for me, when the hope, the dreams and goals shattered by the reality. It took me 2 years to recover from that world. The isolation and loneliness. The mundane, day in day out. But I am watching this again and i feel it. The curiosity, the excitement and the girl I was, one i lost. I feel like her again, perhaps a little less naive. I remember.

I have been here for 23 years old, here on this beautiful earth. Always wanted to live my life without regrets and live for the fullest ever since I was little. Thought life is so special and life is a precious gift human can ever have.I thought taking own life is not the answer. But with time I understood why some people end their life. Because their tired. Or maybe a chance to start again in a new flesh. I'm in a situation that I thought I'm stuck Forever. There is no escape. But this summer it all changed. Not the situation but I am. I changed because I came to a point now there're some bad time come but no matter whatever we gotta push. Fight. FIGHT and never give up. It's ok if this not what you thought what you gonna be at this age, it's okay if nothing work out the way it should be. It's okay because it'll be okay. That's how I wake up every morning telling myself. Live. Make memories . I really don't write these stuff but right now I'm looking at the night sky and this video! Oh man this is beautiful. Fall in love with life every day. Fight :) (Sorry for my English I'm not fluent )

Man how happy I am that I told myself “fuck it”. I went on an exchange with school and liked the people and place so much that I wanted to go back. My first trip alone. My first of many firsts that trip. Had to approach new people in a country with a language I didn’t speak. Slept in a campus, made a lot of friends and overcame my fear of talking to people. I met some amazing friends. I wrote one girl (friend) a letter. I’m her own language. Thanking her for her kindness, we shared some tears besides all the laughing. She needed to hear some positive words as I knew she was going through a struggle. I also give her a present. A joint. Since she liked smoking that, I don’t. But anyway, she was extremely happy. I’ve always opened up my heart quickly. She is one of the few who opened up so quick too. Dangerous but amazing. I’m going back in a few weeks to see if I can learn the language for a year next year. We were sad to say goodbye. But I’m coming back! Another adventure, another story, better to travel than to regret later. I will always love by this, whatever my brother or sister says about me, I will do what I want, because the last time I did it felt amazing and I did things and met people that I wouldn’t have ever done or met if I hadn’t done what I wanted to do. I’m proud of myself! Do what you want to do! Make a plan, otherwise it’s just a dream

Also, these other movies are such masterpieces ever made..Tho I couldn't say thank you before I'll say it now TYSM for the video..this is the type of video that are very few and the type I wanted.

I want to live my life, paint the world in my style, do things alone and be free to do what I love. See the beauty of the day and be happy with the simple things, while creating the complex things I love to do so much. Not to be afraid of anything, but if I am, go further with courage. Taking risks in the things I like and love to do, planning, of course, all my way, but being versatile. Loving God, myself and the people around me, going my own way. :3
