Agreed. I'll be disgusted the day Mr Prowse passes away and Lucasfilm or George Lucas try to offer up any form of condolences in his honor. As they haven't and never tried to extend that hand of friendship while he's still alive today. But you just know when somebody passes they'll be like; "how sorry they are to hear of his passing" etc. Now's the time to do it George and LF. Not when he'll pass onto the next life and start pushing up daises, but now when he's alive and kicking. Make up and bury that shit already Star Wars won and the fans globally have enjoyed the movies for sheer decades. He bloody well should be, He leaked information for the plot, he starred in a fan parody of star wars, he gave an interview for The People Versus George Lucas CLAIMING he didn't know what it was about, he says he's a victim of reverse racism, when he was still going to fan conventions he forced people to pay 50$ for a signed photograph, he's always bitching about star wars, he insulted them for not letting him come back for ROTS, he also complained when they didn't invite him back for Rogue One. The guy is bitter and angry, and he deserves to be left out of the family.

How could he leak the plot when he was given the wrong lines to say during filming. He never said the line I'm your father he was told to say something else and only found out the truth when he saw the film in the theater. There was no need to give him actual lines that would be used in the film since it was all going to be rerecorded in the studio by JEJ. It doesn't make any sense that he would have a need to have access to the real plot of the film think about it. I think he's getting a raw deal. I think Lucas is the one being the ass and has done nothing really good for Star Wars as soon as teddy bears were used in ROTJ it all went down hill from there. Now that George is out look what we got Rogue One a proper SW film.

Dylan Tomasi Would have been hard. Lucas is by far the most vindictive person in Hollywood and that's saying a lot! If he thinks you crossed him he will use his weight to make sure you never work on the industry again. As such Prowse, per Lucas's fiat is banned from going near ANYTHING hosting a Star Wars IP in the US. Like for example San Diego Comicon. I was hoping selling it (Star Wars) off to Disney would loosen Lucas's iron grip on the subject.

Blimmo D. Clown that is truly sad to hear that is not fair to him at all I'm sure if Lucas was straightforward in the first place and told him his voice was not going to be used it would be a non-issue right now.. Lucas is a very talented director but he's also very naive. I hope in the future this guy gets to make a cameo in at least one of the Star Wars movie.. and it's really funny too because one of the reasons why George Lucas sold lucasfilm's is because he wanted to make his movies that won't affect profit wise of Lucas Films. but he hasn't made s*** since you sold Lucas Films nothing at all.. he clearly sold Lucas Films because of the backlash from episode 1 2 & 3.. he couldn't stand being ridiculed for ruining something that he created for others.. that's why after episode 3 he said that was the end of The Saga even though years earlier he mentioned he had plans for an episode 7. the best thing that ever happen is that he sold it to Disney.

if you take into account that the voice you hear there is the raw filming and not the studio recorded and altered final one, you can't judge how it'd sound. Personally I think it was a going behind his back what Lucas did, not giving him even the opportunity to try

errrr, that's the way I wrote what I wrote, that video is the original on-stage and not the dubbed one, what part of it don't you understand? Every character in the movie had this in-production voice and then they had to get to a studio to record the dialogues you hear in the movie (dubbing) and he wasn't invited to do so (as he said in the interview), so we don't know for sure how he'd sound as Vader. And I stand that Lucas went behind his back in an unethical and unprofessional way.

Goran Orrskog well even the production crew said they were disappointed with Prowse's voice as Vader. They really never talked about dubbing or modifying it. Plus the voice Prowse did in this video was cool and all it still wouldn't have done Vader justice like James Earl Jones did. Plus Prowse voice sounds cool in this because he's much older now and voice is old and raspy as well. While what Lucas did was unprofessional I believe what he did was alright in order to make his character better and scarier.

I think Lucas should at least have let him play unmasked Vader.
