I am so excited! This show inspired me to start my own CoC game. This MAY be the strongest show on the network.

While it's a bummer to have this phenomenal season wrap up, how lucky are we to have THIS as the finale? Top marks to Troy and the Mystery Squad: This has been a really special ride. We love our weird morbid Friday night shenanigans with you all.

Standing ovation for the cast, but let the record show Rob is the man and Carter is my fav character from any actual play.

As a keeper who's run (at least most of) this campaign (several times) I have to say I can't wait to see this finale.

ALSO! Did anyone else come into the finale with a mindset of, "at least if everyone else dies, Vaughn survives to carry on the work?"

Two chills lines: Noura saying that djinn are made from smokeless fire and Desmond saying, "I'm not your fucking intern. I'm your COMRADE!'. Loved it. Suggestion, Troy, but for everyone. There's not enough combat for you all to become properly familiar with it so... two words: cheat. sheet. Google it and grab the first hit. Everything right there on hand in the heat of the moment and easy for that open book final exam.

something I love about games such as Call of Cthulhu and Hunter the Vigil is it doesn't matter how magical or powerful someone is; they are never as tough if you get up close to them with shotguns and the right attitude. Can't wait for more Chaos in the future

Not knowing who is going to make it, or what the groups next steps will be, here is my Season 3 Wish List: While it is mostly being handwaved, the group should get their money situation in order. With Jackson Elias' estate funding them, they should all be able to draw a stipend, or salary, getting their credit ratings to 50, at least. For big ticket emergency items, they need to establish an international business checking account with the Bank of England, because it is everywhere they are going: Egypt, Kenya, Shanghai, and Australia. If Vaughn has to fill it, then get reimbursement from the estate after expenditures, so be it. Acting - Desmond's acting skill overlaps with the disguise skill, when it comes to the use of stage makeup, facial prosthetics, wigs, and fake moustaches, so I really want to Ross lean into it. I want Hannibal from the A-Team level shenanigans . Cryptography - Fairuz should be able to make a symbol cypher, so the group can send letters, and leave notes, to one another and people in the loop. This will open up a letters to and from Vaugh segment we can look forward to. Also, a codebook cypher for when they're talking on the phone without worrying about being overheard. Pre-introduce potential backup characters. Everyone should have 2 back up characters, and we should at least have them hinted at onscreen before they appear. It's 1925, they should subscribe to a news clipping service and request newspaper articles about strange murders, disappearances, discovered artifacts, cryptid animals, and occult occurrences in the areas of interest. Eagle's Grange: Vaughn should start collecting cult victims/supernatural survivors/potential PCs at Eagle's Grange. It makes a perfect HQ and it let's his mother met new people without them being random strangers and potential security risks. And to those of you thinking, won't that be dangerous having all those targets in one place? I say, if Vaughn hires Hilton Adams as head of security, along with every Harlem Hellfighter he's willing to vouch for, it will be the most secure building in England. And lastly, while I know this one is not going to happen, see where they have the Glass Cannon Logo? That's prime real estate for a 5th player. Can you imagine Skid, Abu, or Sydney jumping in to this madhouse?

Thank you all so much for making this. It has become my favorite piece of TTRPG media I have ever consumed, and I only started watching it in early April because I wanted to run it for my friends after i finish our dnd campaign, and wanted to get an idea of what it was like. Needless to say I love Masks and I love the storytelling going on in this group, and ever impressed by Troy’s style. I’m gonna have to get into your Pathfinder stuff now, which I don’t think will be a struggle, I’ve loved the shorts I’ve seen so far. I honestly don’t care one way or the other about having you all in person for S3, but I would happily and immediately contribute to a kickstarter or Patreon just to get this show back for a third season by winter or something

This has to be hands down my favourite Call of Cthulhu stream in existence. A great balance of drama, suspense and horror. And humour, which too has its place from time to time in a horror game from stopping it from becoming too oppressively dark. What a great, intense finale. Although I am a bit amazed how not a single player character died. The dice gods were (mostly) in their favour when it counted. But they also make them look like Pulp Cthulhu heroes, one punching people in the heart left and right.XD Looking eagerly forward to the next season with new chapter, a new continent and new shennanigans of the Mystery Squad!

Kates, "-The Troy Lavelle School of Cutscenes", made me chuckle. I think of my character scenes the same way now. Like mentioning Kubrick, or an infamous movie scene from a pop culture classic, just all-the-more helps the mind's eye to really picture the direction style of the scene.

Can't believe it's the season finale! Thank you for hours of entertainment. I cleared my schedule so that I can watch this live tomorrow :D

Definitely my favorite show and I would love for season 3 to be played in person! If you do that, Troy you should buy the masks of nyarlathotep prop set from HPLHS. They sell amazing prop work that you can hand to your players.

I have to say that my favorite line of the episode has to be “Boy Power.” 😂😂 The inner troll cannot help but smile. Don’t ever let Carter change. You need that just right amount of irreverence to counterbalance some of the power gaming for the right blend.

I loved both seasons of this show and i cannot wait for season 3! You Troy are an amazing GM, you are great with atmosphere and to break the tension with a funny interaction every now and then! What Ross adds to these shows is immeasurable. He can lean so well into the vibes of a CoC campaign. Everyone is great but Ross is really something special in these.

This is my favorite actual-play, any game, any group! Please be back soon!! Unrelated: pg112 of Keeper Rulebook: "...a readied firearm MAY SHOOT on Dex+50" (emphasis mine). The PC doesn't get the bonus for anything other than shooting the gun. Run forward to shoot? No bonus. Hide then shoot? No bonus. Only pulling a trigger goes on Dex+50. You don't get a bonus just for holding a gun. Hope this helps.

Congratulations on a superb season (I hope the next one comes soon) So much good to say about this, but I really want to compliment Troy's GMing: excellent scene setting and, just as I thought he was about to cross the line into telling the players how their characters act, he'd return agency to them. It's a hard balance to master. One last thing: I really want to see Ross play both Vaughan and Desmond next season, and I want them to get into an argument with each other.

Great season and excellent episode! I have, historically, stayed away from Call of Cthulhu, as I'm not much of a horror fan, but I checked out the first episode of the first season because it was Glass Cannon and I'm so glad that I did. Kate, Noura, Rob and Ross are all brilliant! The flavor twists that Troy puts in his narrative are worth the nightmares. I can't wait for Season 3, I really hope you are all able to get together and film it in person. Staying around for the cinematic epilogues is a must! Great job everyone!!!

Woooow! Amongst the best of all time. Three knives were out for my heart when the alt reality of Desmond's fate tipped in the balance. The only reprieve were thoughts of Vaughan convalescing back at his mum's. And then Fairuz and he reunite! Epilogues and pat credit scenes to die for, too! Bravo!
