Amazing episode! I just wanted to thank you all for the pod - I've been listening since 2016, but I'm fully converted to video now for Campaign Two. I'm going through chemotherapy at the moment (almost finished!) and these weekly episodes are really helping me get through the long weeks of feeling sick and waiting for my next treatment. Thank you for many years of entertainment, and once again hoping for a UK show one day!

Excellent episode, possibly the best of C2 to date. The scene with Zephyr and Asta was great. Kate coming into the character is a great development and Hubert summed it up perfectly. Kate deserves a bottle cap. Excellent RP and very well timed too.

In this episode Zephyr said what I have been thinking for quite a few episodes already: Asta often seems to act like a loner, without showing much care for the rest of the group or trying to win their trust that much. I really hope after this encounter Asta will start her transformation into a team-player samurai, treating the group as her family and letting other characters into the spotlight from time to time. I may have a problem. I just checked my KZfaq history and I watched episode 1 on 6/1 and now I’m caught up, that’s ~ 60 hours of content in 7 days! I’m an idiot! Thank god I caught up, maybe I can actually get some sleep! I haven’t touched dice in literal decades. I feel like the RPG equivalent of Buck Rogers (btw: that’s what I recall trying to watch/listen to as a kid on my scrambled cable signal. ) when tf did people start making a living having this much fun?? I just watched this cast age 8 months in one week but gods I feel like I’ve known them forever. Going back to the “Why” banter a couple of episodes ago (Troy that was brilliant decision btw), all I can say is that after a lifetime of being mediocre at adulting, I may have finally found/rediscovered my people. I think you’ll be seeing Whytenoise popping up here and there from now on. I’m looking forward to next week!

Man, Pathfinder is such a great game. You make this cool new awesome character, you know, cause your last one died, then the first combat you get into you get attacked by some poison cat, go immediately to dying, then spend the next 40 minutes in shear peril because you have to make a dozen different saves in a row just to not die...again.

Leap Action: Horizontal Jump up to 10 feet horizontally if your Speed is at least 15 feet... you land in the space where your Leap ends (meaning you can typically clear a 5-foot gap... If the gap is 10 feet (as shown on the map), you can't clear the distance with a basic Leap Action as you land at the 10 foot distance in an empty square (which needs to be solid footing).

The funniest part about the banter with Joe not remembering having watched Beaches is that they talked about it once in an episode of A&A, and Matthew tells it almost the exact same way both times. It’s at the beginning of episode 121-which was in 2021, to be fair, so I probably wouldn’t have remembered, either. Also, thank you, Kate, for teaching me the command F trick for the transcript during that one Fodder episode. I would have been looking for ages otherwise lol

Tower is 30 ft tall, quarry is 15 ft deep, tower is still another 15 ft above them. Not gonna lie, was hoping no one would realize and the jump would happen, was a great episode, f**k physics.
