I think it has to be the DHY bud. You aren’t sacrificing anything really apart from a slightly more refined look to the UDI. But you are gaining immense forgiveness and unbelievable speed from anywhere on the face 🕺

Update: I was able to hit a DHY 4 (22 degree) at my local golf shop. First, this club feels fantastic when it strikes the ball. Second, it is easier to hit than other long irons of the same loft. I would buy a TM Stealth DHY just for the feel and sound when it strikes the ball. However, based on the data from the launch monitor, this club would not replace anything currently in my bag. That said, I will not rule it out until I can get one out on the range. So, as a replacement … to be determined. But, if I were buying a new set of irons - I am playing the TM Stealth irons - I would definitely consider putting the DHY at the top end of my iron set.

We don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as this new stealth line up…

@@thegolfsupply agreed but it’s great to keep for practice to hone in the sweet spot. Then use the Stealth to play with.

@@thegolfsupply The P790 is not the predecessor to the Stealth UDI and DHY. The GAPR LO, MID, HI came 1st. Then came the SIM UDI and SIM DHY and then the Stealth models. P790 on their own but closest to the GAPR LO, SIM UDI and then the Stealth UDI

You won’t be disappointed. We rate it highly!

The UDI would be similar. The DHY would 100% be more forgiving

@@thegolfsupply Thank you! I have the SIM DHY and never got along with it. I think it’s due to the thick sole. Thinking about the Stealth UDI for the thinner sole and hopefully better turf interaction. I’ve also liked the P790 3 iron from years past but it was too inconsistent for me to keep in the bag.

Looks very and too similar to the SIM udi…I found the p790 was so much more versatile compared to the SIM udi…felt the SIM udi was very one dimensional but certainly easier to hit than the “set” udi of the p790…beast when you get it right, but getting it wrong is too often the case

Just been a tried them. Both so good. Better results with the UDI for me and felt better with it being more iron looking so it’s been ordered.
