Yeah same, me and my best friend of 5 years haven’t talked in a year over a stupid argument we had online, I wanna apologize but since we don’t go to the same school anymore I feel like there’s no point

I'm a older man that has many regrets. I speak from experience.You can take my words with a grain of salt or read this with an open heart. My biggest regret in my life is with my father. He was never around when growing up. One day 25 or so years ago my father called me out of the blue. He said that he's sorry for not being their in my life. I have always loved my father even though he was never around. We talked for a few minutes and then the hurt and pain my father gave me came upon me. I told my father that he was never around when I needed him.I want nothing to do with him.I could feel the pain he was feeling from his heart. The last words my father heard from me was FUCK YOU and I hung up the phone. After that phone call from my father I started thinking about it. I wanted to go and see him and always thought there'd be time but a few years had passed since that call.I kept telling myself go and make amends with him.Always thinking there's time but then I received a call saying my father was in a serious car accident and I needed to come to the hospital.I dropped everything and drove 100mph to the hospital. Got pulled over from speeding but the cop let me go and said drive slower and I wish you and your family well.When I got to the hospital my father was in icu unconcious. .I have always loved my father even though he was never around.As I sit with my dad I wondered if he could hear me now. Does he know I'm here?. Can he hear my words?I hugged and talked to my dad for 23 days while he was in icu.I never missed a day..I knew in my heart that my chance to tell my dad that I'm so sorry for my hateful words and that I miss him. I love him.I wanted to forget the past and let's start over now but I learned that day that the only time you have is right now. Tomorrow is never given.If you wake up tomorrow thank God for this day..He has given you the gift of another day of life. I guess what I hope you take from me is if something is wrong. You want to make a wrong right. Then you have today to make or tell someone what's on your mind. I suffer from depression.Anxiety and have occasional pain attacks so I may not be normal but my heart hurts just like yours.Thank God for today and heal your hurt.Tomorrow is never given.I learned that with my father.R.I.P. .DAD...

Guys let me tell you about news I confessed to him After saying all the things I started to cry, I was about to pass away, I had terrible pain in my stomach , I was so miserable, I was ruined for him that time. He said I was very nervous and calmed me down.he was really surprised and he wanted some time for that. After a few days (about 2 days after confession I couldn't eat and sleep. I was thinking of him every minute. It was like I was waiting for an answer in front of the operating door. I swear it was the worst day of my life. ) he said I don't think we are in loving stage yet but maybe LIKING STAGE. I am literally dead that time. He had feelings for me, yes... But.. It wasn't what it used to be, and he wasn't interested in me as before. He was responding to the messages I sent two days later. I asked if you don't want me I can erase you but he said It's okay to continue talking. BTW he is going to take the SAT exam next month and so many times Said he is busy but he was online at least 1 hour on Instagram every day. Every time I asked why he is not texting me he said he is busy. Actually he is a bit shy but I don't know. I was the first to start talking since I met him..It's been a week he hasn't texted yet. But Its okay now. I guess his absence doesn't hurt anymore. But I still think about it. I don't know what's going to happen after his exam, but still upset myself with empty dreams. Thank you guys who liked and supported me....

I once had a friend, they abandoned me for 1year and 2 months, then came back and we "dated" hate that word. And then she cheated on me after just 2 weeks, so I had learn to hate. Wasn't making this about me, just getting to my point that if someone has the capability of abandoning you, then you shouldn't waste your time wishing they'd come back, cause if they do, chances are they will leave again, especially if you show them that you missed them the whole time, then they see your vulnerability and they'll know that they can keep hurting you and you'll always forgive them, world's filled with a bunch of sociopaths :) just laugh and try to enjoy your life instead of punishing yourself by keeping your past in the front of your thoughts. Trust me, I keep my past in the front of my thoughts and it only makes me angry and bitter, but eh I'm actually pretty happy, important to remember if you rely on someone else to give you happiness in this world then you will be disappointed. Don't let them manipulate you even after they've disappeared, they've erased you from their mind, only fair to do the same

This is a very unhappy way of living, we know deep in ourselves. The bitter way of being, the distrust, the criticism, are a protection we use and which can be useful here on Earth, seeing how the majority of human race is. But mantaining a balance is important too, don't become what you hate on others... I, myself, still can't change, can't "reset" my mind from all that suffering, despair, betrayal, abandonment of all kinds, false "friendships", fake "love"... but still, even if in this world those terms doesn't exist, maybe there's another place where they can be real? Hope is something that has kept me sane many times. I don't know who you are, where are you from, if you believe in some after-this-life place or not. I'm telling just to not give up on feeling the happiness again, someday, someplace. Please. Maybe all of these words are in reality what I wish someone would tell me to keep in mind, and I'm using the excuse of advising you to guide myself, without even noticing it? I don't know, 3-4 a.m. are difficult hours for me everyday. But I sincerely hope I could help you someway, at some point, to make your burden less heavy on this life. Stay safe.
