It’s why I hate fans asking developers for an arcade game. We liked those games because they were what we had at the time and the product itself was hot. We’ve come a long way, added some good and some bad, but asking for an arcade game without also asking them to modernize it with the improvements of the last 20 years was bound to end up this way.

if there would be atleast 6-8 in the ring becouse i play mostly only big matches , i was thinking the ai and even player targeting in last 2 2k games was annoying but in aew is only 1vs1, even if u do anny 4man match.dont bought it only 4 in the ring is groundbreaking lol and the ps2/3 looking models lol ,thats not for what i play with a 4070.this deathmatch looked from my first time when i saw it so boring already and both get hit from the explosion (inferno match was probably much better).And customization looks bad .In wwe2k23 made i a movesett for like 15-20 hours just for the movesett , i watched every single move,taunt and everything and was long thinking what i do. I uploadet that movesett with the character i made he is called :AMMO MAN BIG&GREAT

You can cancel a pin with the right bumper I believe

crank the difficulty up to legend, but turn the reversals alllllll the way down. You'll get everyone kicking out of 1 finisher, and every match will be 5 stars. I really do like how you can hit up on the d-pad and the opponent will kick out though!!! I dont see that listed ANYWHERE in the manual either, it's like a hidden command.

Most of this stuff is planned to be released in upcoming free updates. They revealed the roadmap before the release of the game so I don't get this same " lack of content "argument under every AEW Fight Forever video. If you don't like the game in its current state, then you can just wait and buy it when they release the planned content in upcoming updates. It's really that simple

@Mannyisdatnigga Because releasing new game modes without testing can introduce hundreds of bugs and that's a lot worse than taking your time and releasing them when they're ready to be released. You can tell that they created the game with passion and needed more time to complete and polish it but they had already taken a lot of time and people couldn't wait any longer so they had to release the game in its current state which for many people including myself is totally acceptable. Of course, not everyone was gonna be fine with an unfinished project, which is why they revealed all the details before releasing the game so people can know what they're getting before buying it. And it is also their first game while WWE 2K games took almost a decade to reach a point where they are at the moment. So, you can either wait for your favourite game modes to be released or decide not to buy the game altogether. But I personally hope that the game reaches its full potential in the future and receives the respect it deserves for trying out something new and at least trying to bring back the good old wrestling formula.

@@edubros3662 what is this roadmap you speak of? I can't find it anywhere. All I see is a seasons pass roadmap, which is just new wrestlers and mini games, not actual new modes or features.

I think we will get a better pin system devs are aware of the frustrations from it. I have faith they will fix it

This. Though I think they make the... Forgot the name of it, but that bar that shows your energy level is supposed to be a gauge. I've been pretty sure when I will or won't be able to kick out but something more would be appreciated.

I don’t think those updates are going to happen as the active player numbers are really low. Think you will get SS and the set DLC characters and that will be it unfortunately.

yes. After playing since it came out, it needs tweaking and it would feel sooo much better. There is a lot of stuff to like in terms of what you can do in the ring, it just needs better match flow.

Well said. Although I think the damage has already been done now. People are already losing faith in this game and it's already lost a huge player base. Pick up and play became put down and forget about. It was released as an empty shell and they took too long to fill it. 4 years to make this game with big promises and massive hype, what we got for £60 was an early access demo. Not good enough. This feels like no man's sky all over again.

@@Richboyfresh09Gamestation No Mercy was the last version of those games. This game could at least have what that game had but it doesn’t. My favorite games from that series being Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, fantastic game with awesome features not found in AEW FF. The AEW game is fine, it has a solid gameplay base but lacks basic options for wrestling games that have been around for decades. You can’t even search moves by type or damage type. Also, acting like other people are too demanding for asking for basic shit from the genre is nonsense. This game is like buying a new car without a windshield or rear view mirror. Yeah I can drive it but it would be nice to just wait and have those things. For example, the create a wrestler shouldn’t even be in this game yet. They should have done it as a game update when it was a viable addition. The game updates should be additional wrestlers like in fighting games. I’m well aware that updates are coming but that doesn’t stop people from assessing what they got upon release. The arguments against complaining seems to just be “Don’t complain, things are supposed to get better.” We’ll see. First thing they need to do is fix the terrible bugs in the game.

Complete OPPOSITE for me. 2K22 is the LEAST fun I've had playing a game. I may pissed off my matches in Fight Forever end in 2 minutes, but I'm having FUN during those 2 minutes. 2K22, doesn't matter how long the matches go on for, Breakers and Stuns completely ruined the 2K Games for me.

It will give it some renewed hype and fun for a week or so until people get bored of the same old rinse and repeat over and over again. The game holds no depth and little replayability. Online hackers are already prevalent in the game on all consoles, won't be long before they start cheating and ruining the stadium stampede mode for others. But it will get very stale very quickly. There not enough in this game to keep people interested, the stampede mode will fizzle out too. If it was a match type, like the actual event, like an all access backstage hard-core match type and not an online battle royale mode I think that would've been a little better. But still not enough to bring back its already massively dwindling player base.

The player base is dwindling too much, I think this online mode may bring back a few of the people who already own the game and that’s it. I worry that it is not going to be supported after the planned DLC as the player base is soo small

@@georgeh4171 I agree, it's sold just over 30,000 copies since release, that's a disaster for aew and thq. Once the updates are sent out this year the developers will give up om this game just like they did with elite gm mode. There's no money in it for them. And the stadium stampede match is already a guaranteed fail. With online averaging around 70 to 100 players online per day globally, compared to the 2000+ players at release, there won't be enough people playing aew to start a stadium stampede match. I find it very difficult to find matches online now as it is. It's impossible to find a 4 way, battle royale or minigame match because you can never find 4 people playing at the same time. This game could've been something great, but the danger signs for aew are already here. This game will be left in the dust by January.

Yeah, if they were going to go with the button mash, at least give us a bar slowly going towards the kickout the more we pressed like how it was done in the early SvR games.

eh, They didn't make it enough like No Mercy. The signature rework and how the spirit meters works is all changed from the AKI formula. A lot of the FF gameplay is anchored around someone landing a signature and it snowballs after that. A lot of the complaints about the matches ending too quickly after a finisher has to do with the changes they made, the older games weren't like that. Signatures shouldn't be match ending moves and the spirit meter should fluctuate more. The running and all that is fine, they don't want people to be able to run around in circles and be cheesy.
