I don't think that he was speaking like they were children. Since they're all grown men who happen to be champions, they don't have to act humble(d) all the time, let alone around each other. Moreover, he related his own achievements on the field to theirs on the ice and appreciated their impact, which I see as going into the realm of positivity. It's hard for normal people who aren't the highest-level competitive athletes to not take seriously everything that one of these people might say.

Most teams didn’t hold a candle to the Lightning, the Avalanche showed real passion, camaraderie, and what it takes to win against one of the best teams in the league. They would eventually get one in 5 hole or backhanded. One of his brothers would’ve had one if he could’ve just put it on target. He had a pretty big opening on the backhand but he just missed the entire goal.

The thing is with goalie is that you have to manage your stamina more. It's not just a conditioning thing. It's maintaing your body position to effectively manage your stamina.

He's a dirty player in the NFL taking blatant shots at men well outside the out of bounds and down. Most NFL players are divas like gronk. They wouldn't last. They'd flop so hard on the ice trying to draw a penalty and they'd get embellishment. Gronk was gassed laying down with air supply and had a team working on him..while in the NHL I've seen players with a broken jaw 3x icing it on the bench and continue playing. NFL players are unfortunately just divas now and not the tough sport it used to be. That's why I quit watching and went back to nhl.
