An infant baby right next to the horses head ..😮 baby stroller right in front of the horse. Fact..most tourists have not a clue on how dangerous a horse can become in a split second. 🫣

It is not a matter of Horses becoming Dangerous, it is a matter of Horses size and weight, if they are spooked or nervous or skittish, they may trample or injure someone, or bite or kick, I have been around Horses 🐎 since I was a Child and always had a Natural instinct around Horses 🐎

The best deterrent is when the horse has a command to lurch forward with hooves stomping the bricks. And head up high looking to bowl over fools who think they're entitled to play with an active soldier and mount ON DUTY AS A KINGS GUARD AND PROTECTING THE CROWN JEWELS .

That is not true! We do care for the guards, but the reason that we are so concerned about the horses is they have no choice if they have to be there and put up with the tourists! The guards made a personal choice to be in the military! The horses do not, so that is WHY SO MANY ARE CONCERNED FOR THE HORSES. We do not like the disrespect shown to the guards or the horses, but these nobel horses HAVE TO PUT UP WITH SO MUCH without a choice.❤️

What is the red arrow moving about is there a reason? I think the public should keep well away of the guards and horses. Would they behave like that in their own country? I think not. The British are far too nice and friendly and the military and Police should show what they are there for……certainly not to be mocked, ridiculed and get in their space🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪

@@Bandomeme the horses I was talking about was not one of guard horses. That one did have a mane. But the guard horses that do not have manes have been shaved because they are also used as driving horses and the manes are shaved off so they do not tangle from harnesss..the horses that are used mainly as riding guard horses have manes.. ❤❤❤

@@brendabirkenbach8533I must have missed your draft horses then, but I did notice what a magnificent tail the horse that officer rode into the barracks had. Long, thick, luxurious and perfectly brushed out. Whoever looks after him must really love him!

No names on these horses as they are generally used to pull artillery carriages. They don't want a mane getting entangled in the harnesses.

I THINK THAT THE TOUR GUIDES ARE THERE TO HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HORSES AND THE GUARDS DO AND WHY THEY ARE THERE IN FRONT OF THE PALACE . I TRULY DON'T THINK THAT THEY ARE THERE TO TELL A BUNCH OF SH_T BECAUSE THEY ARE TELLING PEOPLE EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO WHEN THEY ARE THERE AND THEY SERVE A GREAT PURPOSE FOR THE TOURISTS .

I have listened to some of them belittling the guards so I really do think they are a waste of money. Oh love the all caps you must be a tourist guide too. Oh and tell your colleagues to walk past the horses waving your umbrellas or flags is not a good idea it can scare the horse.

I have a question. During the inspection I noticed that the last standing guard in the line has a patch on her right shoulder that no one else has. It looks like crossed cannons from the angle of view. What is it and why doesn't anyone else have one? Is it perhaps that she is on a cannon crew and the others aren't?

They are The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery usually seen pulling the gun and cannons .
