Silver against Knight specifically makes a lot of sense if you imagine him using a powered up version of his psychokinesis to control the shield and the sword.

I think that if Team Triple S (Team SSS (Sonic, Shadow, and Silver)) really did participate in this together, and they split up, it would be best if Shadow fought Giganto, Silver fought Wyvern, and Sonic fought Knight, given their powers and experiences. Regardless of that, though, the game would’ve been so much better, in my eyes at least, if Silver was the main character, and they tweaked the story to fit for him, since he deserves the spotlight, and the move sets and cutscenes would fit him more. Maybe make corrupted Sonic the bad guy, and Silver saves him. The only thing that made up for that was the character development for Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. I hope Tails comes back as a merge between his adult self in the comics and his Boom self, Amy comes back to be more like herself in the Where Was My Hero comic, and Knuckles gets his hat at least, and make them and others playable. That would be the perfect way to bring everyone back.
